Premier Inn Castleford (Xscape, M62 J32)

酒店早餐很好吃！對面就是滑雪場，很適合來滑雪的朋友居住。房間也很大很整潔，對於兩個人來説住得十分舒適！

We’ve stayed in a A LOT of Premier Inns around the country. You know exactly what you get. Yes we do go for the newer ones if we can, we also upgrade to a Premier Plus room if the cost difference isn’t much. The service is always good (whoever does the staff training is to be commended). Sometimes it is great. I’m leaving a review for Castleford tonight as the service from Diane tonight was absolutely exceptional. She went over and above what was required or expected and I hope the management read this review and realise what a gem they have in her!

Great service friendly knowledgable staff close to Xscape and many food outlets also public transport clean and airy rooms only downside is the road outside a lot of boy racers use it but seem to stop around 11pm so if you want an early night pick a room at the back

Checked in for 2 nights, window broken & sealed with tape. Reported to reception only to be told we are full so can’t move you. Room wasn’t cleaned or towels changed - had to go to reception to ask for fresh towels after getting back to room at 9pm on second night.

Clean comfortable hotel, location was why I chose it. Free WiFi is only good for messaging. Parking isn't great if you return later in the day. Breakfast hot and plentiful. Staff all ok. It's a clean,value for money place to stay. Parking issues might put me off using it again.

Premier Inn Castleford is located across the road from Xscape and the outlet. It is easy to get to and has a good sized car park. The room was a good size and the beds, as with all premier inn beds were comfortable. The rooms facing the road and Xscape are quite nosiy and the traffic can be heard quite clearly when in the room.

Car park was full - even Blue badge (noticed 2 cars NOT with badge parked in disabled spots) Purchased: Cooked Breakfast at 7am was cold and i mean cold - except for sausages. Informed staffed (who were genuinely concerned) Returned at 8am for cooked breakfast - no change. Stone cold except for the now rubberised sausages.. Again, informed staff.. Had 2 croissants and a cup of coffee.

We stayed here for a night whilst passing though the area. The room was well maintained and clean, there are plenty of amenities nearby and it is a very short walk away from an outlet shopping park. Our gripes were mainly due to noise. At 22:30 a fire alarm went off, which is not ideal when you are staying with a baby who was fast asleep at the time. This stayed on for a couple of minutes and there was no staff to be seen and no explanations as to why it had gone off. The other issue with noise is that we were put in a room directly overlooking a train track, we didn’t see any mention of this whilst booking, and it did keep me awake for most of the night with trains passing quite regularly despite it being a bank holiday weekend. We always book a breakfast when at a Premier Inn and these are usually great, however on this occasion we were very disappointed. We had breakfast at half 8, and admittedly it was busy, however there was barely any food left. There was no bread for toast, most of the hot food had gone, and there was no cold bits either. I asked a member of staff for more yoghurts and got a look that could kill in return. She then stomped off into the kitchen not saying anything before bringing out a tray, again not saying anything to me. Premier inn is our usual go to for chain hotels and they have always been great, however on this occasion we were disappointed and did not get a great nights sleeps in the slightest.
