아다푸라 바그라인(Hotel Adapura Wagrain)

The hotel is a well thought out hotel but our experience has been spoilt by the disappearance of my necklace from my room. For some reason my dressing gown was removed after 3 days with my necklace in it & a new one put in my room. It was discovered off site in the laundry and returned after I travelled home. The necklace was posted to me but has not arrived after 2 months. I wasn't asked to insure it, and although it is only worth £150 it has sentamental value. I am now told by the hotel that tough it's lost & there is nothing they can do! I feel annoyed as it shouldn't have been removed from my room.

We had a really good experience . The hotel itself, is for skiers, ideally located for the ski slopes. The hotel leisure facilities, such as the ski storage,spa and pool, were very good. The glimpses we had of other facilities, such as the children's play area, looked equally good. Guest rooms were in a contemporary style, as were the reception and bar area. The dining rooms reflected the differing styles of food served in each. The standard of food was very good, with a wide range of options. The standard of service was extremely good. The friendly and hepful staff helped make our stay very enjoyable. We can highly recommend the hotel for anyone wanting a skiing vacation with a convenient location and a high standard of accommodation and service.

One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Free underground parking, a lovely room with a balcony with a lovely view. The receptionist was really nice and helpful. The sauna area was excellent, the best I've ever seen. Good value for money for the summer. Dinner has to be reserved before 10 am, there was no menu or prices. We booked a table for dinner on our last night to find it was only a buffet and then billed €90 for a few slices of pizza and a bottle of water.

Stayed here for a week while skiing in Wagrain. I have been coming to Wagrain for 30 years and this the only time I was pleased to be going home. The hotel is beautiful, perfectly situated 100 steps from the Graffenberg cable car and has fabulous facilities including a stunning spa and pool. The ski lockers are brilliant, and the room was stunning. The staff were friendly and generally helpful. The Covid policies were good and so while I had to cancel last year, I was happy to re book. It is very expensive with our room costing Euro 470 a night to include breakfast, a ski snack and dinner. This sounded like good value, and I was happy to pay this. On arrival at 1:45pm the room was not ready, and I had to wait. This was no big deal, but I was surprised not to be offered a drink from the array of glasses and drinks behind reception which looked like welcome drinks. My first real issue was the buffets. This is all that is included and on arrival there was no choice, and we were required to use the Austrian restaurant. We went to the bar upstairs and sat drinking for around 45 minutes before heading downstairs to eat. We were shouted at from the bar as despite giving them my room number, I had not signed the bill. This was done in full view of many other guests and was rather embarrassing. This was a poor start and then the food was mediocre, there was absolutely no service and they charged me for the tap water I ordered!! They charge for all tap water! While the room was stunning and the bed comfortable, the mattress was covered in a plastic mattress protector like you might find in some institution. It made for an uncomfortable night’s sleep. The bottled water provided on day 1 was never replenished and when I asked at reception was advised it was a one off. They did provide a further bottle, but I bought my own at a costs of 67 cents for 150ml. Further water was provided later in the week when I complained about the stay. You had to book to eat at night, but the lack of staff meant it was either 6.30pm or 8pm. When paying almost Euro 500 a night I want to relax, not run my life to a timetable and especially an artificial one set by the hotel. I tried to book for the latter part of the week and all that was available was the Austrian buffet from the first night. At this stage I complained, and the manager arranged for me to eat where I wanted. There is a small a la carte called “place to meat” but this is at an additional cost. The food and service were as I would have expected but not any better than many of the places to eat in town. Breakfast was also a buffet and again no service. They did not even provide coffee at the table, and you had to return again and again if you wanted an additional cup. The ski snack was an unnecessarily extensive spread. But while I expected a hot chocolate and a piece of cake the offer was more like a light buffet lunch but with nothing whatever to drink. I would not go back. It is an expensive hotel bein

Hotel was lovely, room was big and kept clean daily. A little warm at nights, but with window open it is fine. Food was nice, lots of choice. Location is fantastic, right next to ski lift and hotel fully geared to keep kit safe and secure. Spa however is a different story. Complete shambles! Attempted to book 3 times, once they cancelled 10mins before, second time they had no record of booking, third time they were fully booked. Spoke to manager who did nothing to compensate disappointment. Would not bother trying again. Would recommend-but avoid spa! Understaffed and disorganised

Our stay at the Adapura hotel was a huge disappointment. Although the hotel has spacious rooms, an huge skilocker, a nice pool and massage facilities (book in advance because otherwise there's a problem) and a parking space underground for everyone, it still feels like the only thing that matters is making money. It's a very expensive hotel (location is great), but it's too much to serve a glass of water or tea with the after-ski snack. Tapwater costs 2,5 euro/bottle. You even have to buy crisps or nuts with your cocktail in the evening. That's not what you expect at a 4 star hotel. There are four restaurants, the Austrian on wasn't very good, the Italian one is always the same (pasta and 5 toppings) and the same goes for the Asian one (wok). We had to send our dish back at the Place to Meat (cold and tough). Some of the staff is rude, they spill (expensive) wine and don't clean it, they're throwing table cloths around, they're even telling you off if you didn't get their explanation the first time, they're eating out of the guest's icecream boxes with a spoon, ... Unbelievable. We booked a family room Star, which is a total rip-off. We paid more than 1500 euro extra for 'connecting rooms' with a hallway in between. We should have booked two double rooms next to each other, because the additional cost to be close to your children is outrageous. Our shower door was missing, didn't get replaced so we had a flooded bathroom every evening. What an overpriced disaster!

First time here and it was a very pleasant surprise how beautiful all is. Even before coming the communication by email and whatup was very very helpful and professional, thank you hotel staff. Food: Very cool is the possibility of choosing each night a different restaurant that is the hotel. Food is very tasty so far...we just started our week vacation, there will be an update. Staff: FINALY, THANK YOU TO THE OWNERS of the hotel for having staff from different countries and allowing them to communicate with us guest in our language. Sorry to say in some other hotels in Austia we come to a situation that even if the staff member was speaking our language he was not allowed to do so by there management. Room: Just one word PERFECT! Clean, very well equipped, perfect size tv, very very happy. Maybe just to have few Croatian or Italian channels can be cool.. not a big deal. Excellent idea to have a hotel private garage, this makes our day-to-day activities easier. We been coming to Flachau for last 15 years but from now we will be come here for many years to come.

We had a great time the hotel is lovely. Locker rooms great for storing all ski gear 5 minute walk to the gondola really easy when carrying kids skis as well as yours. Perfect location. Food was really nice good selection at breakfast choice of Italian. Asian and Austrian and the place to meat for steak. We didn’t eat at the Asian but we ate at the others and loved it. Even accommodated my fussy husband who doesn’t like tomatoe purée on pizza and made him a ham and cheese with base. All staff very attentive and nice we felt relaxed having drinks in the lobby after the slopes and the gorgeous bar in pur Alma. We had a day off the slopes had a spa treatment which was just what we needed and a relax while the kids in ski school. Went in the sauna and swim. The kids wound down every night with a swim before dinner so lovely after working hard on the slopes all day. Rooms great although kids said the bunk beds not so comfy but ours was. Brilliant time we hope to come back.

Our stay at the Adapura Hotel was magnificent! We felt at home while living in luxury. Even though we were there just as a couple, we already saw that there were plenty of opportunities for children and teenagers to entertain themselves and give parents time to relax during their stay. Even after we had already left and some of my belongings were still at the hotel, the staff did everything in their power to make sure everything was sent to my house. Special thanks to Stephanie, Emre and the rest of the reception team! Should you want to visit the area as a couple or as a family, we highly recommend the Adapura hotel!
