칼리메라 크리티 호텔 & 빌리지 리조트(Kalimera Kriti Hotel & Village Resort)

Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience. Although the rooms weren’t what I’d consider 5 star everything else about it was. Staff were exceptional everyone we dealt with were so helpful and welcoming. A special mention to Despina and Georgio who were on breakfast duty ..exceptional service every morning remembering our orders and made us feel like old friends. Receptionist was lovely sorting out a problem with our aircon really quickly. Facilities were excellent..pools for all family members ..we did love the adult only pool. Food was excellent in both buffet and restaurant. We attended the Greek night which was great fun and good again was amazing. We shopped in Venzia and the lady in the shop was so friendly ..her shop has beautiful items for sale. we went back again as got a lovely free bracelet and a hug! Probably the only criticism is only having a buffet available in the evening ..it would have been nice to have another restaurant to choose from. The town was a short taxi away so we we’re able to eat there. This hotel is suitable for everyone both young and old. We also got a late checkout at no extra cost which is very unusual. We didn’t arrange anyone to take our cases as we were leaving but a staff member just appeared to get them. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Arrived very late and met by very welcoming and helpful man who signed us in and arranged for a buggy to take us and our luggage to our bungalow. Also gave us plates of sandwiches in case we were hungry! Fridge in our very comfortable accommodation had a bottle of wine and bottles of water. Beds were excellent and very comfortable and at breakfast we met Katerina, Marina and Despina. Nicer, more helpful and friendlier ladies you couldn't wish to meet. Breakfast itself was well set out and very comprehensive and plentiful - a lovely start to the day. The grounds are extensive and well laid out and a delight to wander around. Elena and Julia in reception organised taxis etc and nothing was too much trouble. There are two large pools and childrens' separate pools and the whole complex is peaceful and restful. Claudia is always on hand for a chat or to problem solve and Paulo is always good for a laugh and to brighten your day. The bungalows are designed to look like a Greek village and are very attractive. We were aware of K K years ago but hadn't managed to get there before. We'll be back again like Mark from Belgium who's been going for 31 years and counting!

Kalimera Kriti (meaning “Good Morning Crete”) is an enormous complex with bars, restaurants, conference/dance halls, beach, three swimming pools, gym and hundreds of tasteful self-contained rooms all slightly different. Mine (c216) had a large outdoor roof terrace with partial sea view unfortunately obscured by the walls which were too high to see over from the deck-chairs provided. Comfortable beds and pillows, good storage, reasonable Wifi, hairdryer, minibar fridge and cable TV provided (bring your own streaming device if you need it), no kettle or iron. Bad smells in the bathroom from a blocked drain which was not resolved during my week’s stay despite three requests. There is limited shopping on site. The village of Sisi 2km away has a good selection of small shops and other services including bars, pharmacy, medical centre, car/bike hire and a laundry. It’s 3km to the bus stop on the main road for hourly transport to Malia, Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos – apparently in the busy season a daily bus comes to Sisi and even to the hotel. The venue is built up the hillside and has many steps and only a few ramps mainly for the convenience of restaurant trolleys and porters' golf buggies. I don’t know if any of the rooms are disabled-friendly but I didn’t see a lift anywhere. No spaces for prayer or worship but there is a tiny chapel nearby and a larger church in Sisi. Food was delicious with abundant choices (get there early because the good stuff on the buffet goes quickly!); service in the restaurant a little indifferent at times and the mark-up on alcoholic drinks rather excessive. Friendly reception staff were helpful and the cleaners were lovely. Outdoor swimming was a little chilly in April but the smaller heated indoor pool was pleasant and uncrowded.

This is a beautifully built hotel which catered perfectly for all the family from Granny down to the teens and tween. The meals were delicious, the staff were so lovely and helpful and the evening entertainment was great for all, particularly the Greek Bbq and dancing night. We were easily able to book tours for all that we wanted to do around Crete and it was an easy 15- 20 min walk into the cute town of Sissi. The kids loved that the hotel had it's own beach where they could hire pedalos and go on the 'sofa' pulled by the speed boat. I loved that there were open air yoga classes. My only wish was that the massage treatments weren't so expensive. Other than that, I really felt this place had everything. We'd love to come back.

Fabulous resort with excellent facilities and friendly staff. Best buffet for breakfast and dinner we’ve ever had; wonderful selections and all so fresh and well prepared. Good idea to book half board though as it does get expensive at €35pp for dinner (plus wine which is also not cheap). We stayed in a deluxe sea view room which was wonderful, although the block we were in got no sun at all - unavoidable, given the location, if you want a sea view. There’s a mini fridge in the room but no access to ice so drinks on the balcony soon get warm! Great tennis courts, excellent choice of pools and right on the sea shore - just perfect. Will definitely return.

BOOKED LAST MINUTE WITH THIS HOTEL FOR BB.. REVIEWS HIT AND MISS ON WHETHER IT WAS OK OR NOT. PERSONNAL EXPERIENCE DEFINATELY COULD BE ALOT BETTER. WOULDNT RATE IT AS 5 STAR NOW, MAYBE WAS BUT NOT NOW. STAYED IN A GROUND FLOOR ROOM WITH MOUNTAIN VIEWS. THE ROOM IS DATED AND PAINT PEELING CHIPPED TILES ROUGHLY FILLED IN. RUN HOT WATER IN THE BATH TO RINSE SWIM CLOTHES, WATER CAME OUT BROWN/ORANGE. NO KETTLE IN THE ROOM, NOT OFFERED ONE ON ARRIVAL. ONLY KNEW YOU COULD ASK FOR ONE FROM REVIEWS ON HERE. CLEANING WHERE DO I START. IN 11 DAYS ALL THE CLEANER DID WAS WIPE DOWN THE BATH AND SINK AND TOILET, EMPTY THE BINS, MAKE THE BEDS, AND SORT TOWELS. NO FLOORS WERE SWEPT LET ALONE CLEANED WITH A WET MOP. THE RESORT IS BIG UP AND DOWN HILLS. AND COULD PROBABLY DO WITH MORE CLEANERS. FOOD AREA WHERE YOU SIT OUTSIDE NEEDED SWEEPING AS HAD GLASS FRAGMENTS/SPINTERS ALL OVER. NEVER CLEANED OR WASHED DOWN AT ALL IN ALL THE TIME WE WERE THERE. RESORT BIG IF YOU DONT WANT TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE, AS SISSI ABOUT 20/30 MINS WALK AWAY. ONLY 3 SHOPS QUITE EXPENSIVE, ONLY WENT IN ONCE THE FIRST DAY FOR WATER AND COUPLE OF OTHER BIT. IF YOUR BB, AND WANT EVENING MEAL IT 35 EURO EACH FOR BUFFET. FELT THIS WAS QUITE EXPENSIVE FOR SELECTION OF HOT AND COLD BUFFET. FOOD IS NICE. TEA SPOONS AND TEA POTS ARE LIKE GOLD DUST. LUCKY IF YOU FIND EITHER. STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. IF YOU WANT TO DO NOTHING THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU, AS NOTHING ELSE AROUND. WE LIKE TO JUST HAVE WALK AROUND THE AREAS WE HAVE GONE TOO.

First time in Crete, firstly very welcoming, Beautiful hotel, lovely swimming pools and a fantastic room kept clean regularly. The food is fantastic in the buffet style main restaurant and even better on the pool bar/restaurant. The main bar is where it’s top of the list, The staff are extremely friendly and their service is second to none. I can’t express how wonderful they’ve been, Cocktails were the best I’ve had in Europe! Truly recommend this to anyone, singles, couples, families welcome. 10/10 ! !

Wonderful place for family , nice staff and the beech is sandy and nice view . Looking forward to go again , Food is great and fresh Any where you go you see the beauty of calimera hotel , best place to relax

Well....the location is one of the best in Crete Island, sandy beaches, big swimming pools, great dinner. Book the renovated rooms or a bungalow on the sea front! So, if you are looking for a great location....just book it!
