So this hotel is placed in kinda industrial area, but we already knew about that, not that bad place actually, 10 minutes ride to the city’s center, usually 10€. Rooms were ok, a bit smaller with small tv, bathroom was better. Staff was really kind and I only have good words for reception ladies and cleaning ones, really helpful and good. But, this hotel has the one of the thinnest walls you can find in the world, I think they are made of he cardboard, you just need to pray that any of your floor and upstairs neighbors aren’t load at all. You can literally hear your first neighbor taking a shower, talking on the phone etc. it was terrible, really disappointing and you can’t have good rest at all.

When you initially approach the hotel you will probably think it doe not look like a great area, but once you have driven your car (ours was fully loaded on way from the UK) into the secure car park and exit up to reception, you are in a different little world. The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful, the owner we think, big smiles all around. There is a nice small garden area with outside bar. The bedrooms are in a separate building and very modern, as mentioned in previous reviews, lots of lovely high quality wood, bed and pillows very comfortable and great powerful shower. I think it would be difficult to get this quality elsewhere in the area for the price paid. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was extremely good,we shared a starter and I had a lovely Sole for my main meal and hubby had suckling lamb which was beautifully cooked and served with a smile. Needless to say the Vino Tinto was an excellent Rioja. We will definitely stay again when travelling to and from Santander/Bilbao to the UK.

I can see why the artworks are popular, but I want a hotel that gets the basics right at an appropriate price. This hotel fails to do that - on convenience, safety, customer service and facilities. The fact there is no lift is made worse by the fact the hotel is unstaffed. You have to check-in at a sister hotel some distance away - where there is also no lift and you have to climb a flight of stairs to check in. You are then just given a key card with some instructions on finding the Dato 2. You might expect to find some basic information in your room - but there is nothing, not even details on the WiFi, so I ended up having to trek back to the sister hotel to find out this information - with no hint of an apology - just the excuse that the password frequently changes (given it was just the city followed by the hotel name I think that unlikely!). The promised bath was a very small metre long effort, with high sides, no handrail or anti slip mat / facilities meaning taking a shower as an alternative was a risk. The room doors were exceptionally noisy to close, so although the hotel was very quiet, as soon as a door was used the peace was broken. There is no view from the room as a consolation for climbing all those stairs, the TV is small with a dodgy remote control and no information on what channels you may receive, but the WiFi does work well when you manage to get logged in. The beds are OK, with conventional sheets and blankets. There were no suggestions about where to go to get a coffee or breakfast - just warnings about not preparing your own food / drinks. You then had to repeat the whole trek back to the sister hotel, back up the stairs there to check out. There was an unused reception desk in the hotel, but oddly enough their website made no mention of the need to check-in and out elsewhere. It wasn't especially cheap either!

I’ve stayed in this hotel for one night and in case I go to Vitoria again, will for sure book it as well. A small hotel in the center of Vitoria (in the Old City) and quite close to the modern part of it. Everything is clean and, yeah, breakfasts are delicious (they are served in the cafe that belongs to the hotel and you’ll have to pay for them). Nothing extraordinary, but you feel yourself like at home there.

Booked the hotel very last minute as part of our whistle stop tour looking for property. On arrival we were greeted by a very courteous receptionist and quickly checked in. We had used the outside parking accessed by a barrier with intercom to reception. We had booked a junior suite as a treat and for around €80 it was the bargain of our 9 night trip in 8 different hotels! The room was immaculate and very comfortable. The beds had memory foam mattress toppers, such a bonus when every other hotel in Spain think guests prefer to sleep on boards...or in France 80cm wide singles! The carpet in the corridor was a little stained but once in the room it was very clean. The covid precautions were very good and I felt very comfortable. Our only minor issue was getting out of the parking. We called reception to lift the barrier but we got no response and after a few minutes called the office block reception who I think let us out! We will definitely stay in this hotel on our next trip or in the future.

We stayed one night during our Globus Spanish Fiesta Tour. The room was large and comfortable with a mini bar and safe. The bathroom had a walk-in shower. I was not impressed by the breakfast where the only egg option provided was fried eggs. There was bacon, sausages, cheese, baked goods, fruit etc on the breakfast buffet. The coffee is dispensed by a machine.
