레이크쇼어 모터 인(Lakeshor Motor Inn)

After reviewing the positive responses of previous visitors- I made the reservation. I am very pleased with our stay. Welcoming,personable and cheerful is how I would describe Vickie. Vickie and her husband are the owners. The inn is old and the exterior needs TLC, although it is clean and safe. The rooms are clean warm and rather quiet for the area. I am very glad that I stayed there… very close to the cities activities. We do not spend alot of time in the rooms- we like clean, safe,warm,and a comfortable bed. That is what we expected and had. Definitely will stay again if we are in Virginia. Oh and it is very reasonably priced!

Clean and comfortable. Place to sleep and shower. Nice little welcome gift. Groceries and food near by.

A really comfortable and accommodating place to stay. We stayed here twice this year while participating in ski races at Giants Ridge. Great staff, great bedding and clean/new carpet. Basket of treats was great add on.

I was really pleased with my stay at Lakeshor Motor Inn. Check in and out was very easy. The room was really nice, clean and spacious. It was nice to have a mini fridge/freezer and microwave in my room. I was here on business and it was nice to be able to fix food in my own room rather than eat fast food. Speaking of food, they left out a complimentary basket of snacks and water for me in my room! There's a nice balcony area to sit out on when the weather is nice with a view of the lake. I would definitely stay here again for work or play!

My Stay at the Lakeshor was extremely good. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was really comfortable. They even had a little snack basket (for free) in the room. Even though there was no "cleaning service" for my two night stay, garbage was taken out, greatly appreciated.

The room had all we needed for a quick over night stay. It had a normal mini coffee machine so i brought my own coffee to make, a mini fridge with a nice size freezer to have ice for my drink. There was a decent walking path around the lake right behind the building. Overall, we were very happy with the room.

Small town motel with owners that care and want you to have a great stay. Very impressed, happy with my stay.

The hotel was reasonably priced and a great location. All in all it was great. The only negative thing I can say is that the beds and pillows were not comfortable at all. Everyone has their own preference though.

We stayed for 3 weeks visiting family. Staff all very friendly. This was our 2nd visit to this Inn. Definitely we will be back next visit to the area.
