Very attentive staff with good recommendations for local producers to visit. Excellent food and service. Room was large, clean and comfortable.

Magique, personnels souriants et aux petits soins pour le client. Très belle chambre, propre Très bien équipée. Flûte de champagne à l' arrivée, petits bonbons pffert en chambre et encore une délicate attention au départ.Le spa est très bien, propre, piscine, sauna, hammam et possibilité de faire des soins.Le restaurant, que dire, exceptionnel, raffiné, surprenant, un vrai délice. Séjour magique.

We stayed here many years ago and decided to revisit after a very recent refurbishment. The work is not yet finished but the areas under development are well screened from the guest area. However, while the decor is contemporary the service is still stuck in the 1980s. The restaurant lacks any atmosphere and the service is stuffy. The food is okay, but not spectacular. The use of silver domes to reveal the main course is something not seen for decades. The bedroom was okay, but in common with many French hotels it was a triumph of design over practicality. It was impossible to prevent the shower from wetting the wooden door, and soaking the carpet in the hallway outside the bathroom. Storage was minimal. A dressing table with no mirror. The wine list in the restaurant is extensive, featuring many champagne labels as you would expect. However these days many folks prefer to drink less, but of higher quality. So we were very disappointed to see only about half a dozen half bottles listed, and only ONE from Burgundy (Chablis), not a single red half bottle from the region. Amazing. When questioned about this the Sommelier simple gave the classic Gallic shrug. Which just about sums everything up. Overall very disappointing and we won’t return.

Wife's birthday so stopped at this charming country hotel set in the Champagne area near Epernay Well appointed and luxurious . Room maybe a little small but very comfortable Gourmet restaurant with a wine list to match Lovely tended gardens Highly recommend for that special stopover

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely quiet springtime break in this jewel of a property just five or ten minutes from Epernay. First the lovely buildings superlatively furnished with pretty, well appointed rooms of course with en-suite baths and walk-in showers. Beautiful grounds with lovely shrubs and gardens with, at the time of year we visited pretty rough law lawns great for wild life. The elegant dining room with wonderful silver service and a super menu. If there is one very minor criticism, the menu is rather narrow for four nights, but that is nitpicking as the offering is beautifully cooked and presented. The wine list is magnificent with the first twenty five or so pages devoted to a wonderful array of Champagnes from minor to major houses. Finally, the staff, they are superb, attentive, professional and oh so friendly, and when it counts, so knowledgeable!

Very beautiful house and gardens. Room nice and clean. Friendly welcome. Down sides: Recommended an Overpriced taxi (60 eur for 8 minute drive), loud children in spa so no chance to relax. Restaurant: food was excellent! but service not worth five stars. They did not understand „medium-rare“ for a beef fillet and mixed up our orders multiple times. Reached over everyone‘s plate while serving. Very disappointing service for a Michelin Star Restaurant.

First time in this relais e chateau . L’hotel piccolo e confortevole ma il ristorante certamente non all’altezza. Siamo stati seduti quasi 2,5 ore per 3 portate che sono giunte anche fredde e addirittura sbagliando il destinatario dei vari piatti. Onestamente per un ristorante che chiede 100 euro per un menu’ degustazione di 3 portate bisogna aspettarsi di piu’ e soprattutto in un locale di questo livello. Anche il personale era in imbarazzo per la lungaggine e gli errori del servizio Probabilmente non ci torneremo First time in this relais and chateau. The hotel is small and comfortable but the restaurant is certainly not up to par. We were seated for almost 2.5 hours for 3 courses which also arrived cold and even the recipient of the various dishes was wrong. Honestly, for a restaurant that asks 100 euros for a 3-course tasting menu, you have to expect more and especially in a place of this level. Even the staff were embarrassed by the length and mistakes of the service Probably won't be back

I had forgotten to write a review until now. It was one of our overnight stops when heading south. Nothing wrong and not very memorable. The meal was average and served in a cavernous room which, in our view, detracted from the ambience. The room was clean and tidy. Not much else to say
