빌라모라 가르덴 호텔(Vilamoura Garden Hotel)

Check was fast, friendly and efficient. Room was very good. Large bed, safe balcony, very clean, tea and coffee making facilities in the room.Rituals toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was a hot and cold buffet with good choices in all areas. Pool looked clean but didn't use it. Dinner menu had a good selection of dishes but again did not use.

Fue una experiencia inolvidable. El hotel y el personal son excelentes. Fuimos en semana santa y cada día de nuestra instancia tuvimos un detalle en la habitación. Lo único a comentar es el spa, que cuando hay mucha demanda es complicado acceder.

The rooms were clean, spacious and room serviced daily. I told the hotel in advance that I was gluten free and they looked after me very well at breakfast ( we were B and B only) but also accommodated other meals. There was good choice in the lunch and evening meal menu. The food was very good and staff very friendly and accommodating. There is a free shuttle bus to the marina across the road and a local bus goes to Albufeira from a bus stop 10 minute walk away. Not much to do in the immediate area unless you’re a golfer/sports person so recommend car hire, but there are day trips you can book on at Vilamoura Marina. The Algarve is beautiful. I would recommend going to Alte. Thank you Tiago and Michelle and all others for your care on our holidays xx

A sedate and chilled hotel with considerate and welcoming staff. Half board didn't detract from the quality of the food and drink. Links to the nearby Hilton allowed us free transport to the Marina and value for money spa offers. Weather meant we didn't use the L shaped pool, and it could benefit from a few more amenities nearby. A great stay and I'd consider it for a September trip. Easter meant the hotel provided a cake and port gift too!

Delighted with this hotel from check in to departure. All staff were friendly and willing to help in any way. Our room was spacious and well serviced for the 10 days. We ate off the a la carte dinner menu a few nights and whilst limited was always to a high standard. A good snack/ lunch menu was available each day too. A well stocked bar with excellent service , special mention to Sebastian who always prepared our drinks and mocktails to a high standard. The location of the hotel was slightly far away from main Marina but an Uber was always on hand. The free shuttle bus from nearby Hilton is very handy. The pool , whilst small was adequate for us and the general pool area was well enough maintained. Some missed opportunities to upswell drinks and snacks around this area. Overall, a great 10 days . The hotel is in a quiet area about a 20 minute walk to the marina which was very nice The rooms are a great size cleaned every day with new linen and towels Reception staff were very helpful with 1 exception who only had one reply (Not possible ) to everything but ANNA was a star and helped us lots The food was very limited and always run out of deserts only fruit salad left even at 7pm each day-starters for me was soup every day The main was a choice of 2 meals which was ok but small portions and we had to eat out on several occasions due to lack of choice. Breakfast was ok needed to be hotter and the sausage was not edible horrible. But lots of cold buffet. The bar area very small but ok so we used the Hilton which is very close It was an ok holiday but would we return i think not.

First time stay at Vilamoura Garden Hotel and it will not be our last. From check in to check out the staff were professional and friendly. In reception thank you Richardo, Lilli and Pilar. In the restaurant and bar thank you Tiago, Michelli, Ariana and especially 16 year old Raul. My wife wanted to adopt Raul and bring him home with us - what a lovely well mannered young man. Swimming pool had a maximum depth of 1.5 meters and so was safe for everyone. My wife is a non swimmer and was confident enough to use the swimming pool every day. The rooms were an adequate size with a king size bed, were very clean and were kept clean every day by the friendly staff. Our room 117 overlooked the swimming pool Our only constructive criticism would be that the set menu every evening for HB customers offered a very limited choice. For our next stay in the hotel we will seriously consider going breakfast only - unless the set menu is improved. The hotel is 25 minutes walk to the world class marina that offers multiple choice for restaurants and bars. A taxi from the hotel is 8 Euros The 5star Hilton (same group) is about 300 meters away with adjoining championship golf course.

Great hotel in a quiet, residential location. Fairly close to the action (5-10 mins drive). You can also use the shuttle bus from the Hilton hotel next door if you go to the beach.
