I have got there. The self chekin didn’t work, they did not send me the PIN code to get the key. Also they didn’t answers the phone. After 1 hour wait I went to another hotel

The location was perfect and was quite reasonable. The room was clean with a small refrigerator and there was a small dining area and access to a stove if needed. The only issue we had was getting into our room. It is a self-check hotel so we were given a code to get our room key. We were told to enter the code and a box would open with our key. The problem was that we had to enter the code to get into the door to where the rooms were and there was a lock box on the wall that was NOT the box that would open. There was another box inside where we needed to enter the code a second time to get the key. Just a minor thing but since there was no desk we were on our own to figure it out and luckily someone else came along that called the help number to get the actual directions. Other than that it was wonderful and we would definitely return!

Entry into the property is very difficult, actually it was scary in night. No Uber or cab drivers could arrive in front of the building. We had to drag our suitcases to next street. They sent the code to access the premises very late, so caused us a lot of waste of time from our Salzburg trip.

Absolutely beautiful building set around 5-10 minutes walk from St Stephen Cathedral in Vienna and the main shopping street. This hotel is a 'self service' type hotel. You are provided with a code on booking which allows you access to the building and hotel. There is no one at reception and you have a code to get your key. Our room wasn't ready but we were able to leave our bags in the kitchen and go for lunch. The room itself had a king size bed and a single which for three of us which was fine. However, here are the negatives... When we went into our room the room had 2/3 big bluebottles flying about. The window was open as the room was stifling hot and they may have come in through there but eww. Also room was baking and they had a air cooling device in the room which didn't work. The main ceiling light had two bulbs that were fused. The bathroom was tiny with no hooks on the door and the shower was broken. It was also mouldy. As there was no one on site, we couldn't do anything about it. Also, we were only there one night, we accepted the issues and carried on. However, at around 150 euro a night it was a bit dissapointing.

Only if I knew that this hotel is getting money of people without even letting them stay in the hotel itself I would’ve never booked it! Literally the previous reviews of other visitors really corresponds with my poor experience. Thinking that this is a 4 star hotel (which is definitely not) I booked this hotel online, entered my card and reserved the hotel. However, the money was withdrawn from my account straight away (whereas in all the hotels the money is frozen until you move out from the hotel) As soon as I arrived i didn’t see the hotel until we asked the taxi driver where we were. I went to the reception to check in. The lady standing there said that there were no rooms available for us at the moment, even though the money was paid and withdrawn from my card. I started asking how that is possible, she said,”I can’t contact my boss, he is not answering”. I asked her to give a refund immediately, to what she said, “we have no money to give you right now”. She said to text booking (which we did, sitting there, doing it in front of her), so that booking then emails their hotel and we’d receive the refund. Me and my mother reserved the other hotel right down the street, walked there with our suitcases, the lady said that she can’t let us stay there (remember, around 400€ was already paid for 3 nights from the card). After a couple of emails and 3 days of patient waiting, there was no contact, until me and my mother decided to say that we are applying to court with in this case. Only after this, they gave the money back. I really believe that the hotel works in a way to scam people. I don’t want people to get scammed in such a way. Thank god me and my mother had money to pay for another hotel. But imagine, what if you come to visit Vienna, pay all the money you have for the hotel, you go in there, and they tell you they have no rooms available. What do you do? Honestly, it was weird that the hotel was “fully booked”, there was no other person except me, my mother and the receptionist lady. God knows how this hotel got 4*. It should be closed down, because I am not the only one who had to face this type of problem, when coming to the hotel.

Very good value, very well located and comfortable

Large rooms in an older property on a quiet street which is centrally located. It was perfect for our needs. This was a budget and location choice for us. The rooms were MUCH BIGGER than we'd expected. The location was not a far walk from public transportation. Staff was helpful. Portable AC available in the rooms. I'll say it again, the rooms were much larger than you typically get for this age and price.

Great location. The room was basic but had everything we needed- kettle, fridge, comfy beds.

A nice simple place to stay in Vienna. Perfect for short visits, room booked wasn't available due to damage and was only offered a smaller room or the damaged room with no other compensation. However, staff and room was pleasant and a great location in the city
