Super 5 star hotel -we have been impressed by our stay this week. The breakfast staff in particular stand out (26/27/28 March) as they are so busy yet friendly efficient, pay attention to detail and the food is great! I recommend the tea station's ginger mint and honey combo, with poached eggs gluten free bread and their breakfast berry bowl is a real treat. The housekeeping team are never seen but are super at their job, cleaning and refreshing rooms to the highest standards. We may never have met you but you are appreciated!

Unser Aufenthalt im Almanac war wirklich ein wunderschönes Erlebnis, das von Anfang bis Ende durch exzellenten Service geprägt war. Vom herzlichen Empfang an der Rezeption bis hin zur sorgfältigen Betreuung durch das Housekeeping-Team fühlten wir uns jederzeit bestens umsorgt. Ein besonderer Dank geht an Lindsay vom Restaurant, sie ist durch ihre außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit und Kundenorientierung sehr positiv aufgefallen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für diese wundervollen Tage im Almanac, wir freuen uns bereits jetzt auf einen erneuten Aufenthalt.

Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende in Wien. Wir wurden sehr herzlich und unkompliziert in Empfang genommen und auf das Zimmer begleitet. Das ist insofern sinnvoll, als dass die Zimmerbeleuchtung etc. komplett über ein Touchscreen gesteuert wird. Die Zimmer unterscheiden sich wohltuend von anderen Wiener Hotels, deren Einrichtungsstil ich mal kurz als "barock-schwülstig" beschreiben würde. Das Bad mit separater Toilette und separaten Bad-Dusch-Raum war das erste Hightlight. Das zweite Hightlight: Die Fenster lassen sich mit innenliegenden Rollos komplett verdunkeln. Wir hatten ein zum Innenhof liegendes Zimmer. Von der Geräuschkulisse her, ist es möglich, bei offenem Fenster zu schlafen. Wenn dann auch noch die Fenster verdunkelt sein sollen, muss man die elektronische Steuerung etwas austricksen. Das Frühstück im Hotel erfolgt a la carte. Tee und Saft stehen zu Selbstbedienung zur Verfügung. Alle Kaffee-Varianten werden an den Tisch gebracht. Die Frühstückskarte umfasst Omelette, Egg Benedikt, Shakshuka, Früchte-Bowl etc. Viele vegane Optionen. Die Mitarbeiter im Hotel sind allesamt sehr aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Eine absolute Empfehlung !!!!

Wow, was für ein fantastisches Hotel! Ein absolutes Schmuckstück mitten am Wiener Ring! Durch Zufall bin ich auf das Almanac aufmerksam geworden & ich bin über solche Zufälle sehr froh. Ein sehr elegantes, ruhiges Boutique Hotel in Prime Location Mitten am Ring. Die KärntnerStrasse & Stephansdom sind nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Unser Zimmer, eine Palais Suite war unfassbar toll. Es hat an nichts gefehlt & es gab viel Platz: bequemes Bett, großes Bad, separater Wohnraum, riiiesen TV‘s & Fenster zum öffnen: mit Blick auf Johann Strauß & Stadtpark. Leckeres, gesundes, Veganes Frühstück in herrlichem, ruhigen Ambiente. Meiner Meinung nach die besten Waffeln! Der Spa war war die absolute Überraschung (auch wenn er schwierig zu finden war): langer Pool, Sauna & entspannende Behandlungsräume. Die Mitarbeiter waren in allem Bereichen extrem herzlich, aufmerksam & freundlich. Das Hotel blitze blank sauber. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen, da es die perfekte Ausgangslage für den Städtetrip ist, aber auch eine unfassbar ruhige Atmosphäre ausstrahlt.

I chose the Almanac because of it's location and also to see the reincarnation of the former SAS hotel. It was a GREAT surprise! EVERY single person working at the hotel deserves massive props for being the NICEST people in the industry bar none! I literally thought this was simply the most friendly hotel in the world.

Check in staff was fantastic! Florian was great as were all other employees! Curtains had some issues getting off their tracks. Restaurant staff extremely responsive and friendly!! Coffee in room needs to be stronger. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

I can’t say enough about our experience at the Almanac Palais. We had reservations at another hotel that were cancelled unbeknownst to us until we arrived. Even though it was not an ******* error, ******* escalated our predicament to and upgraded our initial accommodations to Almanac Palais. Upon arrival, Almanac Palais upgraded us from a Junior Suite to their Palais Suite. It is in a beautiful location across the street from City Stadt. We received outstanding and kind service from the reception desk, concierge, housekeeping and porters to the dining room personnel. The breakfast menu is gourmet, try the Eggs Benedict topped with caviar! Vienna is a beautiful city and our visit at Almanac Palais was outstanding! I’d like to thank Hector at ******* for the kindness and empathy he showed as well as his persistence in finding us a different hotel at a very busy time of the year in Vienna. I hope to go back someday! Thank you dear friends at Almanac Palais!

The hotel is centrally located and walkable. The service was great, especially from Danny. The spa is nice as well & really relaxing. We were given a room upgrade & welcome snack. The only reason it is not five stars is because the coffee machine did not work. The two tvs in the room are back to back & when you turn one on, they both turn on to different channels. We were in the spa at 10:30 in the morning. There was no one there & we had to wait until someone came to turn on the facilities, but the spa opens at 6AM. It is a great hotel with a few small things to fix to make it amazing.
