빅토리아 폴스 사파리 로지(Victoria Falls Safari Lodge)

Despite the price was a tad steep, everything was excellent during our trip. The driver of free shuttle service was so attentive to introduce each stop snd reminded the pick up time on our way to Victoria Falls. Room itself was small yet clean with spectacular waterhole view. Shortfall was our room was too far from the waterhole itself. Nonetheless their service and breakfast were of top notch and view from the restaurant was unbeatable. What a mesmerizing stay!

What an amazing place to spend a few days. This hotel overlooks a watering hole so we were able to enjoy meals and cocktails while watching buffalo, elephants, monkeys and warthogs. The hotel is immaculate, and the staff is very friendly. Our package included the boat ride on the river , a visit to Victoria Falls ,an a la cart dinner and the boma dinner. The boat ride was on a luxury boat and included drinks and snacks. We saw many hippos, crocodiles and many birds. The sunset was stunning. We found the meals to be very tasty and the blood Mary bar at breakfast was a fun treat. The Boma dinner was substantial and consisted of both African and Western foods, music, singing and dancing. There were also some craft people there so make sure to bring some cash in case you might want to buy some souvenirs. Our room was large and very clean. There is mosquito netting and we really appreciated the bonus of mosquito repellant for individual use and large spray for the room. There is a pool onsite as well. There seemed to be many other tours available for shopping, game drives or visiting town. We were very happy with our stay and the staff could not have been nicer. We found the hotel and all facilities to be very clean and in very good condition.

This is one of the best hotels in have ever stayed in; the location and hospitality were both superb. For wildlife enthusiasts like us, the opportunity to see it all around us was very special. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would like to give Noma in the bar a special mention, as she was outstanding in her hard work, attentiveness and kindness. It is easy to book all sorts of trips and safaris from the hotel and everything runs like clockwork.

Dernière étape de notre voyage "Afrique australe" avec Croisieurope. Situation du lodge magnifique: très proche du centre de la ville de victoria Falls mais en pleine nature. Myriade d'animaux dans le parc, dont éléphant, buffles, girafes, oiseaux tisserands avec leurs magnifiques nids. Vue sur le point d'eau depuis la chambre, depuis le restaurant et la piscine. Piscine " nature" superbe Accueil réception très professionnel. Chambre un peu étriquée malgré tout; déco et équipement chambre un peu vieillot; bonne literie. salle de bains rénovée mais ni assez grande ni pratique. ceci dit on ne vient pas dans cet hôtel pour cela! Donc au total le séjour en vaut la peine pour l'emplacement et le cadre. Petit déjeuner: choix incroyable; et très bon. Petit bémol repas du soir: peut mieux faire.

The visit was my first and I was not disappointed either. The views from the rooms were beautiful and calming. The service from staff was excellent and meal choises were great. The BOMA experience was the best ever.

We stayed for 3 nights to have a small business meeting with people from the region. The facilities were comfortable and worked well for our group (9 pax). The staff were friendly and accommodating and I would recommend for this sort of gathering.

A beautiful accommodation with amazing views of the landscape! Food and drink was excellent. Great location and good transport into town and falls. Was very expensive for an Africa hotel but assume paying for location. Disappointing how they over charged us for drinks by telling us the wine list was out of date but they still charged us more. After complaining they finally reduced. However, lively stay

Lovely place to stay with well equipped rooms (I stayed in the waterfacing suites), kind service for everything you need; great breakfast and other eating facilities. The waterhole is a really nice extra with activity on 2 of the 4 days I was there. Good connection to the town and Falls, also able to cater for all your other plans around the lodge. A really good, relaxing experience. Personally not a fan of the nearby Boma (too loud, too big, too fake) and prefer eating in the lodge; it did get a bit quiet at night sometimes.

This was our final stop after a touring holiday in South Africa and Botswana. Sadly the hotel could not compare with our earlier accommodation. It is in a remarkable position overlooking a waterhole (bring binoculars) but its standards fall well short of the 5 stars claimed; 3 would be a better assessment. Overall it looks rather tired. Food was very unimpressive and relatively expensive. Bar service was friendly but painfully slow. We wouldn't stay there again.
