다플레이스 - 안티카 카사 코포(Daplace - Antica Casa Coppo)

Perfectly located and central with shops, restaurants and canals all around. It seemed virtually everywhere you would want to go was less than a 20 minute walk. All clean, and pleasant cleaners and owner. Very reasonable in price considering the area. The double bed was made up of two single mattresses and you could hear any noise from the corridor and other rooms (but I was travelling alone and it was a relatively quiet hotel so no issues for me).

Clean, safe and in the heart of the city. We loved it! heads up, there are a lot of stairs to climb to get to the apar**ent. Other than that, great place.

Loved the location. A little away from the noisy areas but not too far. Seating area in lobby was nice just to have a drink.

The concierge (Christina) was very accommodating. The location was very close to the water taxi stations by Rialto Bridge

I dind´t like that the bed had only the drawer sheet. We were 3 persons and they gave us only 2 large towels. There's nobody at the reception in the evening and night.

We have stayed in hotels in five cities in Europe over the past two weeks, and Antica Casa Coppo was the best, by far. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and much bigger than advertised. The staff was friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure that our stay went well. The location is great, with a ton of options to eat/shop/site see within walking distance. I would highly recommend Antica Casa Coppo!

First, Orbitz showed this as a hotel. This is a guesthouse which does not have a full time front desk. If I did not have my US phone with me, I would not have been able to check in. There is no way to contact the hotel after you book. Atleast, I could not call to confirm my reservation. On my way to Venice, I got a WhatsApp message asking me what time I would reach the hotel and then I was send a self checkin code. It’s the code to the keypad on the door. The room is open and the keys are kept in the room. The room had stuff in the drawer that previous visitors left and was not cleaned. When I reached there, I thought we are the only one in the entire building as it was super quiet. It’s a little isolated as well. There are no elevators, so you need to take all your bags up a steep stair. The AC did not work the first night as it has to be turned on from the reception. If you open the windows, all mosquitoes will enter the room. The mattress was rough and looked very old. In short, if you stay at 4 star and above, I would think that you might not like this place. We got used to it the second day. The first night, we were uncomfortable. It’s close to at mark cathedral and major attractions.

The staff was not friendly.It was too difficult to contact them. One day the room was not made by the service lady. The kitchen and dining room were a mess. I will not recommended it.

It was a very quite neighborho.od, place was easy to find once we had been there once. Close to St. Mark's Square and many good restaurants
