벨뷰 럭셔리 룸 - 산 마르코 럭셔리(Bellevue Luxury Rooms - San Marco Luxury)

We are a couple in their 30s, the location is excellent with a view of St Marks Cathedral and the Bell Tower; it was so central to everything and easy to go back and change or rest between tours (I uploaded a picture from our window). The front desk was not very helpful or friendly compared to other hotels and experiences in Venice. Also, the breakfast offered was really limited only very running scrambled bacon and very over cooked eggs were the hot foods offered. I wouldn’t pay more than $210-$220 a night for this hotel.

I loved absolutely everything about this hotel. The check-in was quick and easy, the staff extremely professional and friendly, the location is nothing short of perfect, the room was stunningly beautiful, clean and comfortable and the view...!!! It would be nice to have a kettle in the room to have a hot drink in the morning or the evening, but that's not a big deal. The breakfast (which is actually served in a sister hotel a couple of minutes away - perhaps because I visited in winter?) offers a great and tasty selection. I guess that in summer when Venice is busier, if there are people hanging out on San Marco square late at night it might get a tad noisy but unless you're a very light sleeper I can't imagine it being a big problem. Overall, this is a gem and there is no doubt whatsoever that the next time I'm Venice I will stay there again.

Room View exactly on San Marco it is amazing. Rooms need to be fresh paint but overall it’s amazing.

This was a very nice hotel and I would never stay here again. The rooms were pretty, the staff were nice but there was NO hot water for bathing. None. No shower or bath after a nine hour flight. After the first night we told them and they said they fixed it. But then there was no hot water again the second night. They took off an eight dollar euro tax from our bill. Eight euros in no way made up for two days of vacation without a bath after an international flight. The owner of this hotel can afford a new hot water system. The poor staff knew there was no hot water but had to deal with clients with no hot water. There was also an offer of a "free" tour to Murano glass factory. We took it as we knew we wanted to buy a couple things anyway. However, there was a lot of sketchy behavior with a lot of people involved. It was a well organized system. The woman that worked with us was very pushy asking me what I did for a living and when I gave an honest but general answer she pushed even harder to know who I worked for. Most people involved in this system were pretty rude. We tipped one taxi driver 10 euros just for not being rude but actually pleasant. The worst part is that when we went to pay, there was a lot of pressure to pay in cash. I would never agree to go again even if I wanted to buy something. As well, the breakfast was OK. Not great just OK as it was often crowded and you had to share with several other hotels. Don't stay here. Don't take them up on their offers.

Excellent location! Right on the corner of at marks square. Very convenient. Pretty rooms. Very helpful check in staff. Only downside was like most hotels, especially in Europe, pillow was like a pancake, very flat.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the center of Piazza San Marco. Tall ceilings, dark carved wood throughout the room, heavy drapes color coordinating the wallpaper. The bathroom was very spacious, water pressure in the shower was excellent and AC worked flawlessly. The decor- from the elegant chandeliers to the wood floors and bed frame- It has the venetian old style I was looking for and it is incredibly quiet for the location. We had 2 windows facing the Piazza and never were disturbed after 2100. The windows open fully to a narrow balcony yards away from the Basilica. Staff was friendly, multilingual and accommodating. Excellent hotel!
