레온 비안코 온 더 그랜트 카넬(Locanda Leon Bianco on the Grand Canal)

Fantastisk modtagelse og service overalt. Super beliggenhed midt i Venedig, og alligevel trygt og roligt. Meget flotte værelser (vi var på 2 pga. opgradering). Fin morgenmad. Et fantastisk sted, og jeg vil ønske at vi kan komme der igen. Hele vejen igennem gøres noget ekstra. Velkomst brev med info om særlige muligheder. Kaffe & te på gangen (og lige lidt chokolade dertil). Det var tænkt på paraply-lån. Enestående venlig reception. Vi var afsted i speciel anledning, og blev opgraderet på 2. Nat så vi fik værelse med udsigt til kanal Grande. Hotellet gjorde det til en uforglemmelig begivenhed.

This is a very unique hotel. Right on the grand canal, our view was incredible m but three flights of stairs to get to front desk and no elevator. I would stay again.

Mi pareja y yo nos alojamos aquí en nuestra última visita a Venecia. Era la primera vez en este hotel y pese a que vimos opiniones un poco dispares nos decidimos por este sitio por su excelente ubicación. Hay gente que comenta que les resultó complicado de encontrar, pero con Google Maps nos resultó muy fácil, además hay un cartel que te indica la entrada que no cuesta mucho de ver. Está en pleno centro de Venecia aunque en una callejuela más escondida, lo cual le da más privacidad. El recepcionista que nos atendió fue muy simpático con nosotros y además habla varios idiomas. Nos explicó cómo funcionaba todo y nos hizo algunas recomendaciones de que ver en la ciudad. Nuestra mayor suerte es que nos hicieron un upgrade (gratuito) de nuestra habitación y nos dieron una suite que era enorme y preciosa. La cama era grande y cómoda y la decoración bien cuidada. Es una muy buena opción en el centro de Venecia y a muy buen precio.

Our Ground Level Apartment here was big, beautiful and clean with powerful air conditioning and its own private dock. The staff here was fantastic, communicating with us regularly before and during our stay. They had champagne waiting for us upon arrival, and booked multiple water-taxis, gondola rides and tours for us to/from the train station, the airport and the nearby islands of Murano and Burano. The daily breakfast was fantastic too. And on our departure day, the team packed-up a to-go breakfast for us, because our plane left very early in the morning, before breakfast. Can't say enough good things about this place! Just wonderful!!!

This place was beautiful, it exceeded all our expectations. It was the little touches that made this place very special, we got a complimentary bottle of prosecco. The location was just perfect. The staff were amazing, just so kind, genuine and very helpful. Breakfast was gorgeous and the room was so dainty it was fabulous. Couldn't have picked a better spot!

My husband and I had a lovely time at Locanda Leon Bianco in March. We had the room pictured in the ad, Junior Suite with Gran Canal View, and it was just perfect! The windows on the front and on the side open to allow stunning views of the canal. The staff was friendly and helped us book a tour. They suggested restaurants and offered to make reservations for us. They have a private dock and provide water taxi transfer from the train for a fee. From the day we booked, they were very helpful communicating directions and useful tips for enjoying our time in Venice. There are only a few rooms, and the breakfast area can only seat about ten people, so breakfast is provided during a time slot you select. We were the only ones there during our time slot besides the cook who will prepare a few different items made to order, in addition to the buffet which included mason jars of fruit cocktail, yogurts, cereals, assorted breads and danish, and a different cake of the day each day. It was very nice. We did not use the private water taxi. Instead, we followed the directions graciously provided for public transportation. The dock for the public water taxi is only a few short blocks away. It was easy travel for us even though we are both in our 60s. The hotel itself is really hard to find. We were right there, but there is a long narrow alley leading to the hotel. We kept turning around and going back, thinking we were lost. Even the shopkeepers right next door did not know where the hotel was actually located. When we did find the entrance, we were faced with two long flights of stairs. The man who buzzed us in kindly came down and ran our bags up the steps for us. The stairs can be a challenge epecially for senior folks. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend Locanda Leon Bianco to others. Our room was delightful, breakfast was delicious, and the staff was helpful. Good times in Venice!
