팔라초 카탈라니 리조트(Palazzo Catalani Resort)

우리는 호텔에서 하룻밤을 보내 휴식을 취하고 플러그를 뽑았으며 결과는 기대했던 대로였습니다...크고 매우 편안한 방, 잘 마감되어 있고 따뜻했으며, 직원들은 도움이 되고 전문적이었고 우리의 몇 가지 요청을 만족시켰습니다...아마도 제 시간에 예약하지 않아서 안타깝게도 이용할 수 없었던 스파 서비스를 이용하고 돌아올 예정이며, 숙박 기간 동안 문을 닫았기 때문에 그 건물에서 식사를 할 수도 있습니다.

Good location, although you need to be quite fit to reach the property as it is at the top of a steep climb. The 2 bedroom apartment was quite spacious, but was dark and you needed to have the light on all the time, as there was only one window letting in a limited amount of light. The kitchen was small and you had to tilt the fridge to open one of the cupboard doors. It would have been nice if there had been a balcony to sit out on. The food in the restaurant was disappointing; quite expensive for what you got and a few of the meals were served with baked chips, which turn out to be crisps. There is no drinks menu, only one beer and only 2 red wines sold by the glass, and only a small glass of wine offered. The staff in Reception were very helpful and helped with local transport timetables and tickets. The sauna and hot tub area is lovely, but you need to book well in advance to use it. The top garden has excellent views of the castle, but is small and after one day was closed for relandscaping.

There is no lift at the property and combined with very steep access to the Hotel, is not the ideal location for people with limited mobility.

we had a perfect week staying at the resort in Soriano this May. Such a beautiful town. we had a rental car so visited all the recommended sites over the week in what may be the most beautiful countryside that we have ever visited.

Self catering properties of various sizes. Some with individual terraces. Other properties may use comfortable garden, seating areas and bbq. Excellent location for visiting several restaurants in town, on site restaurant for breakfast and dinners most evenings. Good location for exploring area North of Rome. Train excursions available for exploring further afield e.g. Rome.

We rented a car to tour the area; so much to see. But the train is close by, really no need to have a rental car. The town square is a very close walk. Such a lovely hotel with a great restaurant. If you rent a room, coffee and Cornettos breakfast is included. Timeshare occupants purchase breakfast or buy groceries and eat in room. One needs to be able to walk a steep uphill cobblestone climb to reach your room. But that is part of the charm. I would go again in a heartbeat 😊

A wonderful place to stay in order to explore the town of Soriano nel Cimino. Easy to access the town square and nearby restaurants. You need to be aware that access to the hotel is via an incredibly steep bank which you have to walk, not drive. Nevertheless it is, worth the effort

I would recommend staying at the Palazzo Catalani to anyone, as long as you don’t have mobility issues. There is a lot of uphill walking from the car park. Take the time to enjoy the area as this location is great.

Stayed 6 days in Palazzo Catalini in Soriano and had a wonderful time. We got lost while trying to find the resort, however, we stopped at the tabacco shop and they knew just where we needed to go. Look for the signs for Palazzo Catalani. The room was amazing, the spa was wonderful and the town is perfect. The people are all so very helpful, the cooking class with mamma was GREAT! The stores have the best vegetables and the restaraunts are amazing. Keep in mind the shops open at 9:00 am and close at 1:00. They re-open at 4:00 and close at 7:00. The restaraunst open at 8:00 pm every night. Don't try to get a pizza for lunch - they make pizza for dinner after 8:00 pm. This resort is a must see!!!! Yes, it is a steep walk to the resort, however, you do get used to it. And I felt I got some good working steps in so the pasta I ate was not so costly to my figure :-)
