I had a very pleasant journey in this hotel. The location is extremely convenient, the hotel has a parking lot for the guests which is a must in Varese. The location is near the "nightlife" of Varese where there's an abundance of all types of restaurants. Staff is very kind, including the cat who will receive you in first place. Rooms are full equipped, even with a kettle (not common in Italy) and breakfast is outstanding. Definitely the best choice in Varese.

A small hotel with very few amenities but very well located within the downtown area. A lot of cafeteria, restaurants shops around so a traveller shouldn't worry. Very prompt service on any concerns. Rooms are a bit noisy though as it is on the main Street and loud noisy crowds roam around quite late at night.

My partner and I stayed at Hotel Europa for 2 nights on the occasion of a nearby wedding. We managed to check in early thanks to the kind lady at reception and I think we must’ve got a slight upgrade as our room had a balcony overlooking the square. The room itself features a good number of amenities like air conditioning, mini bar, a kettle and more. There is also a laundry room where I was able to iron my shirt. Bed was a comfortable king size and provided us with a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was alright - there was some confusion regarding its price (we were told €7, it later turned out to be €10) but that was later sorted at check out. There was a good lot of homemade food - always a plus in today’s standardised world of hotellerie - though its presentation and service was also a bit rustic. The staff were wonderful throughout and made us feel welcome even during our short stay. I would recommend Hotel Europa to both leisure and business travellers alike.

Great hotel in the centre of Varese close to the historic town and near restaurants and shops. The hotel has good rooms with nice/clean bathroom. The breakfast buffet has all one can ask for with fresh croissants, yoghurts, eggs and a wonderful service from a charming lady that helps with everything.

Very conveniently located. Unfortunately my room faced the street so there was some car noise during nighttime. The mattress is very soft - which is good if that is your preference. The staff (at the reception as well as the cleaning staff) was very friendly. A few more electric sockets would be good as I had to share one with my phone charger, the kettle, the mini bar fridge.

The hotel is located right in the centre, just off the high street. Staff are friendly and went out of their way to provide an ironing station and even for me to get an additional room while I was there. The rooms are nice and clean, and have a tea making station. Breakfast was basic but the kitchen staff were really pleasant. Our room was cleaned daily to a very good standard. It's a good mid-range hotel for travellers who don't want to spend a fortune, but want a decent place to stay. Would definitely stay here again :)

Spent one night in Hotel Varese, it is located at the bottom of the city centre, which is perfect as you can walk to the city from there. The staff who did the check-in in the evening was very friendly. A parking slots are available at the property for free. The equipment of the hotel is quite old, my room was close to the elevator and I could hear people coming in and out since 6am so unfortunately I could not sleep well. The price was a bit too high for the sleep comfort I got.

Booked for two nights to go to a local wedding. Daniele on reception was fantastic, and really flexible with my needs. The guy who works evenings was also really friendly despite me turning up at midnight (thanks, Ryanair...!) The location is perfect, and isn't too noisy either. The room was spotlessly clean, and the aircon was a welcome surprise. Breakfast was buffet style, with breads, cheeses, hams, and then cakes and tiramisu(!) For the price, in such a gorgeous town, you really can't knock it.

We have just come back from a week in Varese. We chose the hotel Europa as they have some rooms equipped with a little kitchen. It was a special and important occasion for us. What to say: first, the location is unbeatable while you are right in te city center, with dozen of restaurants nearby. Parking is not an issue as the hotel has a closed parking. In terms of furnishing, services etc. It is a typical Italian 3 stars hotel. Somehow you can feel that the place has had a glorious past and feels now a bit decadent (green spaces not wow, some kitch decoration touches etc), a restaurant which is now a pub with a limited choice BUT what Makes the Europa special are the people working there: Alessandro, Roberto and Daniela in reception, the guy managing the pub / restaurant and of course the chambermaid Nicoletta: they really made us feeling and at home and they are the best reason to come back!
