Shubham , the property ***ager made our stay so worthwhile, he is very helpful and always available. He organised all our trips in the city . Our stay at Vijaygarh Kothi was very memorable. It’s a lovely heritage property , walking distance from Assi ghat . Highly recommend and thanks to Shubham once again for a wonderful trip

A charming gem of a heritage hotel with a location close to Assi Ghat, yet an oasis of calm and peace. The rooms are airy and clean, well maintained. One wakes up to the chirping of birds and the sounds of the morning aarti from the ghaat if one is not already there. Subham the ***ager is ever smiling and arranges everything that you may need on your visit. To and fro taxi from the airport, tuk tuk for local visit, cabs for Sarnath etc, is prompt and always courteous as are all the staff. Would strongly recommend this property.

I had the opportunity to experience a stay at this charming heritage boutique hotel, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel is conveniently situated near the picturesque Assi ghat, and the rooms are not only spacious but also beautifully designed. Food is served as per order and is good, breakfast had limited options though! The only drawback was the noise from the adjacent street ( a norm in Varanasi, as hotels are mostly on busy streets ) which they might work on, soon. They say that it's not just the location but also the people that make a place special, and this certainly holds true here. Shubham played that role here.. From the moment I made my reservation, Shubham provided exceptional service with prompt responses and helpful suggestions... ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay in Varanasi, from arranging activities to providing valuable guidance. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Vaishnavi, who exudes affable energy and was delightful to talk to!! . From arranging daily transfers for sightseeing to facilitating airport pick-ups and drop-offs, the team went above and beyond to make my journey hassle-free. A special thanks to Shubham for his humility and assistance throughout my stay. I highly recommend this stay when in Varanasi.

Vijaygarh Kothi proved to be a delightful and enjoyable destination, the premises was hygenic and well maintained with modern amenities. The major plus point was the proximity to the ghat. Excellent food at any time of the day with every detail meticulously arranged, courtesy of the thoughtful efforts of Shubham.

A very well maintained property with excellent care extended to all patrons. The beauty of it is that you feel like you are living at your own house. Its close proximty to the Kashi Vishwanath temple and the ghats being at walking distance, make it even more desirable. A special note of thanks for SHUBHAM for the awsome hospitality extended to my parents. Thanks for looking out for them as if they were your own. "Firstly, it's important to note that my review is based on the standards in India, particularly in Varanasi, regarding accommodation. In my opinion, Assi Ghat is the best place to stay as it's quieter (considering it's one of the busiest cities in India) compared to other areas. Additionally, it could be said that it's situated at one end, allowing easier exploration of the other Ghats from the outset. Moreover, there are several cafes and pizzerias that are decent. Regarding the accommodation, my room was spacious, with air conditioning and excellent hot water; however, unfortunately, there was no internet due to issues beyond the hotel's control, as I was informed. I would like to highlight Shubhan, who ***ages the establishment, for his excellent attitude in every aspect. For those wishing to visit Varanasi, it's an option I recommend."

The trip to Varanasi and stay at Vijaygarh kothi was horrible. There has been very bad experience with dirty toilets There is no arrangement for meals.the stairs are most uncomfortable . Staff is not so good. My experience was not good.

I would recommend this property. May not be top of class in terms of amenities but more than makes up with extremely friendly staff and services and will provide you the best guidance for touring around city. Also their food is top class
