NIce hotel, the room was good, but it went a little hot in the early morning. Breakfast buffe was good, restaurant was good, although the evening menu was a bit limited. Free car park included.

You always know what you get with Scandic. Good quality for the money. Chargers located in the parking lot

The best location if you like to be surrounded by forest. Nice and clean facilities. Friendly person at the desk. Good variety of food for breakfast. Spacious restaurant. Service at the restaurant however is slow…Only the elderly lady seems to be active at her job. The room is clean and have a nice view .

Nice hotel not so close to city center, but close to nature. I can come again if i have the way to gövle

Kids friendly. Nice pool and sauna area. Good to relax with your Children. Nice breakfast. Near the bus stop 100 metres where you can take the bus to central Gävle.

A great hotell with pool and gym( just under renovation) a good and varied breakfast with all you can imaged. Good quality at the facility and a very comfy bed. Good service and nice workers their.

Good rooms and nice hotel but the staff were passive aggressive. The pool was small, shallow and cold. We woke up at 4am to one of the plow machines plowing snow, very carefully. It sounded like the plow scraping up the asphalt. One day my sports team was going to have breakfast early, before scandic opened the breakfast, then we got dry bread and very bad breakfast. And after we got the bad breakfast the staff was still annoyed with us. I had been looking forward to breakfast the next day when we would eat the "real" breakfast. When I had to wait for breakfast that was out of stock for 15 minutes?! I will never come back!!!

Good welcome on arrival. A bit out of town if you do not have a car but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel,. just 15 minutes to the town or to Valbo shopping area. nice room. TV channels limited with no music channel available. Lots of family or larger groups during my stay - so perhaps better suited to them rather than a solo traveller. It was annoying to keep hearing children run up and down the corridors.

Poor restaurant that serves food even thou it is overcooked and never should have left the kitchen. Breakfast is serving reheated/overburnt bacon. Rooms are ok but sterile without any touch of personality.

Scandic Gävle Väst did not deliver. Been visiting there severall times but this time it failed big times. Would recomend the management to reconsider the way they take care of tand educate their staff.

was a second time in this Scandic , without booking before. all was great, had a room with view to the forst, did not hear the mtorway, could eat vild berries in the morning by the mornung walk with my dog, later good breakfast.

This hotel was very good value for money. We stayed for 3 nights and breakfast was lovely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was fairly basic but adequate. However, the bed did not help my back problems. The mattress was fairly uncomfortable. Also, we thought that the Hotel was closer to the centre of Gavle than it was. It is about a 20 minute walk to the centre of Gavle rather than the 10 advertised. We ended up catching the bus into Gavle and a taxi back. This was fine and the bus runs regularly, including late into the evening. We would stay here again.

This I a budget hotel so you can’t expect to much. The location is practically near the roads. And the breakfast is quite good. But the rooms are small, badly ventilated and have no sufficient curtains if you want to have it dark when you sleep.

Spidernet about 25x10 cm big in the roof…a lot of dust on the spot in the roof…how hard could it be to clean? Onley one smal blanket in the bed for to… Told them the issue when check out..promised to bettet them self…Dident offer me anything…going back home in about one week going to take another hotell in the same lokation…
