Torre de Palma Wine Hotel, Montforte, a Member of Design Hotels

We felt so welcome and wanted here. The hospitality overflowed. From arrival, to room accommodations, to dinner and breakfast, all was relaxing and excellent. Little touches like parking our car, wine upon arrival, welcome drink and staff being so appreciate you are there made this definitely a place I would return to!

Unbelievably equipped rooms! The linens and furniture are stunning. The pools are both so pretty and welcoming. The photos online don't do this property justice! Food is fabulous and wine great! If you're looking for a place to unwind, this is the place for you. Paulo made us feel very welcome and well looked after.

Just 2 hour drive from hectic Lisbon we are greeted with an oasis of tranquility, beauty and a piece of authentic Portugal . Wonderful welcoming staff, delicious cuisine and wines to savour and enjoy. Swimming pools, horse riding at our fingertips and relaxing room to unwind in , Just perfect .

This is a unique, friendly, relaxed, yet exquisite resort. It is a wonderful place to unwind. The Turkish bath was absolutely decadent. We had it to ourselves. We are on a ten day road trip around Spain and Portugal staying in highly rated places. Torre de Palma was my favorite so far. It is one of those places that you remember after you’ve forgotten the rest.

Stayed here for 3 nights in March as part of a special birthday for my wife. Everything was 1st class, Palma Restaurant, private wine tasting round the fire, picnic in the olive grove, sunset vinos on top of the tower & great room with fire lit for us each night. Food & wine was amazing & every member of staff was outstanding. Look forward to return one day.🙏

Hotel was nice and quiet. Personal were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is over price. But the disturbing part for me was, seeing their horses with an electric fence. One of them tried to get closer to us to say hi, and was shocked. So unnecessary and goes against animal rights. I don’t understand how Marriot policy allows that

We had an amazing stay at Torre de Palma! Even though we arrived a bit late, we still got our welcome drink and were very well welcomed to the Hotel. The staff is amazing, mostly Argeu, who received us and was very nice introducing the property, and Luís, who provided us with a great experience during our horseback riding class. We totally recommend to do some of the activities and the massages (we had ours with Tomás and really enjoyed it)! The facilities of the hotel are amazing and very comfortable, with different indoors social areas, the pools, the outside areas, the restaurant (very good food and wine) and the bar (always nice to play some snooker at the evening). There is also the tower, with a very nice view, mostly for sunset, and a small library on the way up (we spent there just a couple of minutes and found some perks). We would also like to note the comfort of our room (double superior) and the complimentary goods (you have my heart when I have complimentary water everyday) and the comfort of inside temperature, which is not always found in Portugal: the place is very well acclimatised, except for the restaurant during breakfast (you will want to have a long-sleeved shirt, which we assume is due to the building being closed all night). Very good breakfast, btw, with a lot of good options (the cheese...!). Overall, it was an amazing place to relax while feeling home. Can't wait to go back!

Exquisite and iddyllic place for a romantic escape. The property, the staff, the acommodation and available ammenities were superb in every way. Here time seems to move slow and the place seems to provide for taking the best out of it, wheter you're enjoying the pool hidden between vineyards and cypresses, strolling around or simply atching the view or the magnificent sunset from the tower, while having a wonderful glass of white wine from their own production. A must stay.

Our two-night stay was top-notch from beginning to end. The hotel is beautifully decorated; no detail was overlooked in its design. You can relax and enjoy your visit in many indoor and outdoor spaces, including the beautiful spa and a Roman ruins site down the dirt road. The staff excels in its kindness and service. The wine and dining options are delicious. We did the wine blending workshop, and it was a one-of-a-kind experience. Rooftop sunsets with a welcome glass of wine are not to be missed! I can not rave enough about this special hotel and staff.
