The hotel was great and the grounds were beautiful with alpacas feeding on the lawn in the morning, but what set it apart was the helpfulness of the staff, particularly Ruben, who was there to assist us with anything we needed. Thanks for everything!

Property is in good location to visit Secred Valley. Property has a sense being upscale many years past. Rooms are large and quite comfortable. Bathroom shows sign of very aging and need some upgrades/maintenace. Front desk was not very warm, dining room staff was good, and other staff are good. It has poetential to be an upscale resort with some upgrades and proper maintenance.

Nice enough but felt very stuffy. Captive market so prices of drink and food are expensive. Disappointed by the lack of choice in the restaurant for evening meal but not easy to eat somewhere else. We did randomly find a pizza place 5 minutes walk away which was a surprise! Very friendly and good pizza. It was expensive to get elsewhere as they call a service for cars. Told us there are no taxis in Ollantaytambo to bring us back which was not true. Not really our sort of place.

This is a wonderful hotel in a wonderful setting. Large airy rooms and super beds. The breakfasts are good. But given its remote setting it's such a shame that both lunch and dinner menus are short and very poor value. You must avoid eating here and get a cab to any of the surrounding restaurants. This will add to your costs. We have been to 6 regions over the past 3 weeks from Lima to Arequipa, Colca Valley, Cusco, Lake Titicaca (Puno) and Sacred Valley. The restaurant seriously needs to up its game Hotel = 5 stars and Restaurant =1 star. Giving only 3 stars overall.

Clean and good sized room, we liked the overall set up and landscaping. However, the restaurant is very expensive and not justified. Breakfast supposed to start early at 0500 but there was not much ready and available when we needed it at 0530.

Stayed here for one night, the hotel has a lovely reception area and is set in lovely tranquil surroundings. The staff were helpful, friendly and very obliging. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a cosy bed, the downside was the bathroom. The bathroom was dated and in a poor state. The shower was over the bath and the bath was gruby and in need of replacement. The grout around the bath was black with mould. The sink in the bathroom was missing the "glaze" in many places and again was in need of replacement. The whole bathroom could have done with a total refurbishment. The rooms are set around the grounds and in small bungalow type establishments, which are nice. There are excellent views from the hotel. Breakfast was good with a good variety of things to enjoy. If the bathroom had not been in such a state, this would have been a nice stay.

The villas are spacious, and the grounds and surrounding scenery of Urubamba are beautiful. There are activities and a playground for children and a spa for adults. The staff is extremely helpful — especially Javier who came by three times, once in the middle of the night, to care for an ill family member.

Our tour agency made the reservation for us, and did they hit a grand slam! An unexpectedly elegant resort with a delightful a**osphere and great food. It was a welcome destress from a busy trip. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would love to return someday.
