I've booked accommodation at Tesorino for my CEO, Simon Phage, but what an embarrassment when he called me to inform me that his room was not up to standard when it came to cleanliness. The coffee plungers was dirty and the room smelled stuffy, as if it was not opened for a while. He is not a person that complains for nothing, but he was not very impressed with his room. I regularly book at Tesorino for our staff members and will keep on booking there, but they must please make sure that all their room and the coffee station is properly cleaned and the rooms aired out before the guest arrives. We had an amazing stay at Tesorino B&B. Anne and the rest of the staff were super friendly. The room and facilities were perfect. Very close to the beach and nightlife in Umhlanga. Also a great place to relax by the pool.

We had a great stay at Tesorino. Very quiet and clean with a lovely pool area. The staff were very warm and friendly and very welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic with it being made fresh for you as you request. Its a 10 minute walk to the beach and about the same to the shopping malls and restaurants, we felt safe with multiple security checks happening daily. We would definitely stay again

The curtains downstairs by the eating area were dirty. When I came back from dinner, I no longer had space to park. I parked outside. The place doesn't look well maintained. The towel railing in the bathroom, fell off

I highly do not recommend this place the pictures are deceitful! The place is smelling like an old rusty house and you cannot have a visitor otherwise you pay an additional R500. The old lady doesn’t have boundaries she be knocking none stop like she has nothing else to do! Even their reception isn’t welcoming so don’t go there!

The accommodation was comfortable. The cleanliness of the place needs some work. The floors were sticky. There was dust gathered under the beds and the bathrooms were not entirely clean. The breakfast was lovely. Everything was catered for during breakfast. Thank you.

Great service and lovely staff. The breakfast was well prepared. Clean rooms and wonderful host. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Durban. I enjoyed my stay throughly and would recommend this place.

I spent two nights in this nice B&B with a very lush garden. The owner Anne is very kind. Our room was very nice, but the toilet seat in our bathroom was very old Breakfast was good, with a wide choice of food, but I think they need two people to cook/serve breakfast instead of only one; we had to ask for napkins because they were not on the tables. Parking inside is quite uncomfortable, due to the slope; however parking outside is safe, because the area is 24h patrolled. The location is fantastic, very close both to the sea and to the restaurants area.

Amazing but short stay. Service good and friendly staff
