팀버 리지 로지 앤드 워터파크(Timber Ridge Lodge and Waterpark)

Nice and clean rooms with wonderful service.

We enjoyed the Waterpark and hot tub. The kids all had fun on the activities within the waterpark. Room definitely needs some remodeling. New carpet and a few upgrades in bathroom are needed. And cleanliness was so so. Floors in bathroom and kitchen were dirty. It was quiet and a safe environment however. We had adjoining rooms with our friends which was fun!

The kids had a lot of fun. The room we stayed in was pretty nice. There were little things that should probably be fixed, but I don't expect perfect and they weren't deal breakers for me. Compared to another indoor water park that we love going to, the room was nicer here, but I enjoy the other water park more. I didn't care for the arcade here. Expensive and seems more about getting tickets to get prizes than actually having fun playing games.

This is usually a 5 star for us. We’ve been coming for 10-15 years. But this visit was not as great as previous stays. Our room was in need of updates. There was a weird hole in the carpeting. The shower needed to be re-caulked. The stove in our adjoining room was wonky. We couldn’t get tv to work. Small things but they add up. The pool renovations are great though. We love having the indoor water park so close to the Chicago area. I’m sure the rooms will be spruced up in no time & we’ll rate highly again our next stay

Very good overall - two points need improvement: we checked in at 1:30 and they said they would text when the room was ready. No text by 4:05 so we asked and they said it had been ready for a while and they texted; but they hadn’t. Missed out on a few water park hours killing time because of this. Also our room phone didn’t work, so the few times I had questions I had to walk to the front desk. Super comfortable room, great HVAC system, comfy beds, great tub. Friendly service in water park eatery. Good food selection too. Easy way to get fresh warm towels at water park. Very clean. Hard-working staff. Great park for young kids but my teens had a lot of fun too for an overnight stay. Not cheap but there are deals to be found.

We did not enjoy the sleeper sofa as much it was very uncomfortable making for a restless night sleep. However, all else was good.

Fast checkin, great communication through text. However water is ice cold, and park hours could be better on a Friday. Also Bed comfort is rough. All in all though it’s like Vegas if you keep to a two night max your kids will have a place and you’ll get out unscathed.

Our stay at Timber Ridge was great. The rooms and water park are clean and well maintained. A lot less crowded than taking a trip to the dells. Definitely will be coming back.

We have been going to Timber Ridge for years. This years visit was so disappointing. Check in took forever with only one person and lines of people. Water park was extremely overcrowded. Tables are left dirty and filled with wet towels. It's impossible to know if someone is sitting at the table or just left all their garbage. With new water park renovations we expected it to be amazing. The water was extremely cold and all we were told is that they "were looking into it." You spend all this money and it's so cold your little one is freezing, you can't sit down or even get a clean table. The lazy river is a joke. There is no "lazy" about it. At least half is kids running around in it or swimming in it that you can't float without being run into, tipped over or have to worry about running over a little kid. Life guards are not paying attention and not enforcing any rules that are posted within the water park. In the game room some games will take credits from your card but not give you a chance to play. I had to have this fixed for 4 different games between my children. Ridiculous! Food at The Hungry Moose took forever and when it did come out it was cold. Waitress apologized for how long it took but said there was a large to go order so we had to wait until that was completed. Rooms need a lot of TLC, lots of broken cabinets, dishes and are just not well maintained. I wish I could get out money back for this stay.
