So overrated. Dirty room, bad matrass, not suitable for kids (kids are allowed to use pools only between 7:00-10:00). When not booking directly with hotel they will charge you additional €12.50 PPP/24H. to use welness. (We haven't seen anybody in the outdoor pool whole day) Bar/Minibar pretty expensive. Flushing toilet or washing hands while somebody else is showering results in a burned back. Clogged drain and lot of flys and mosquitoes....

Breakfast was supposed to be served until 11, but at 10.30 there was hardly anything left apart from some cornflakes, 3 breadrolls and greenish scrambled powder-eggs. When I asked the lady if there were any boiled eggs left (I saw other people had them), she was extremely unfriendly, just shrugged and just said 'no' and went about her business. If you can't be bothered to boil two more eggs for your guests, at least be friendly about it. So don't expect anything from the breakfast buffet after, say, 8AM. There was a strange moist/old smell around the whole hotel. Reception wasn't very friendly either. However, the rooms looked good, had a nice bathroom with a big bath, the pool was nice and the area is beautiful. Wifi reception was excellent.

Year after year our managementteam went to Kasterlee for two day break-out meetings. Year after year we saw the same hotel deteriorating - if you are looking for a real Fawlty Towers experience, this is probably the closest you can get.

In all fairness.. we on this trip... so I guess I shouldn't be too harsh... This "wellness" hotel leaves a lot to be desired and is in desperate need of a refurbishment. Though the wellness (sauna, hamam, jaccuzzi and large swimming pool) are ok, the rooms are rather shady and old, with filthy carpet, mold in the shower, a TV from the 70'ies with a remote control with no numbers/letters on it whatsoever, and the pillows are hardly filled with anything. But... personel is friendly, and the 3 course dinner we had was outstanding, as was the breakfast the next morning, although the breakfast room was also rather tacky and in need of a makeover. So food: excellent. Lodging: could do a lot better!

Best hotel I stayed at in the area. Good selection in breakfast buffet. Unfortunately I got room no. 1. The room it self is fine, but it is located right next to the entrance and sounds goes right through the the door for outside. An as all smokers stand right in front of this door it is quite noisy due to loud talking - two nights in row until after midnight. Recommended hotel, but will not stay in room no. 1

Room and bathroom was dirty and not cleaned properly for a long time. Cobwebs and dust in corners, missing shower door and cold for a long time. Heating is done via airco and makes a lot of noise while heating it up from 16 degrees to 20. Breakfast and dinner very overpriced by 200% Food is not special, not bad but not worth 45 euro. Dust in the sauna and only small towels were available. Bathrobes were also not available. They come with a rent price of 7,50 if they have them. Massages are very soft and she was able to make it a bit harder after asking. It felt like stroking. We went there to relax but it wasn’t..
