Gold Island Selected Hotel

I would like to thank Mrs. Jana very much for the professional, medical and honest massages. I recommend it to everyone who needs the hands of a good masseur. Moreover, there is a large area around the hotel with its own nice beach, varied, well-prepared local dishes.

Block B April 2024. Firstly, the suppliers are sorry to hear that you were disappointed and that the accommodation did not meet your personal expectation. Please be advised that the star rating is allocated by the local tourist board and based on certain criteria such as service and facilities offered. The criteria for hotel star ratings significantly varies across the world.

1st time at this hotel and would 110% recommend for any age, couples. Families , older generation. There is not 1 part off it you could fault, I came with my son (25) and his gf, and my dad (80) and we all loved it. Place is so so clean and plenty staff to help. Restaurant has so much choice all the time and snacks are great.

Very well presented and clean hotel. All the staff are lovely and make a huge effort even with the language difference. Lots of Entertainment throughout the day in which the staff really try to get everyone involved. Would highly recommend and will be coming back at some point myself

The first thing you need to know is that there are TWO separate hotels, the main one is the globe that looks very pretty, then there’s the block which is anything but. I booked with love holidays and I blame them for this but i booked the globe hotel, only to be ferried to the block hotel. This is small and averages 3/4*. Apparently they are the same. Well I am vegetarian and the food in this place is awful, no selection for me at all, I have found myself complaining everyday, then finally they say I can use the globe hotels buffet. Better late than never… it’s fantastic in there, plenty of choice for me. It took 3 days of complaining for them to suggest this, and I am frustrated because that’s the hotel I booked!! Anyway. Rooms nice. Staff are hit and miss, I find that as a lone female I get ignored quite a bit. Now for the most frustrating part- NO ENTERTAINMENT- absolutely nothing going on, no music no shows no fitness activities. I really don’t understand considering they say they are at capacity.. more lies. I have come across one English person, it’s mostly Russians,apparently the English come next month. I wish I had some good things to say.. the coffee is great the cocktails are good and the beaches are amazing and perfectly peaceful.

A fantastic hotel, with exceptional staff. Having spent 7 nights at this hotel, it has been excellent from arrival to departure. The staff are fluent in multiple languages and those who are not, still make the effort to have conversations and even start using google translate to make sure everything is okay. I have never stayed at a hotel whereby the staff would do anything to make your stay as welcoming and enjoyable as possible. Berhan from the front desk greats all the visitors professionally and with a warm welcome. Deniz from the entertainment team has been phenomenal all week. He constantly is arranging activities, sports and games to allow visitors to make friendships and have the most enjoyable week possible. Deniz goes above and beyond spending time with all the hotels guests making sure they are having a good time. The last Stand out man is “sexy man” Yusif who makes the most fantastic cocktails on the main bar in the evenings. Very entertaining, and friendly. The man is a legend. The hotel is very large outside and plenty of quieter spots if you want to be away from people. The food all meals times is extensive. There is something for everyone. Can’t think of a reason you wouldn’t want to come here. Will be back again in 2025 for sure.

Went with friends to this hotel, amazing facilities, lots to do, great variety of food. Beautiful views, hotel on the beach. Literally in walking distance. If you love going to the beach, quad biking & fly fishing, this is the place for you! Highly recommend, definitely would stay here again 👍

Second time at Gold Island and this time we stay in B-Blok, on the 6th floor. We have a nice room with sea view. The Hotel appears very clean and all employees are very friendly. Food and Drinks have a poor standard of a 5 star Hotel.

We arrived late at night and had requested a twin room as we were mother and daughter. We were shown to a room with a balcony with what was like prison bars. We complained and was told it would be sorted in the morning. Not acceptable as we had already had our original hotel changed. We were shown a new room which was adequate for us. Although each morning construction work was going on which wasn't good at all. Food was ok, breakfast eggs were on a hot plate but cold, of you moved for a coffee the plate would be taken which is ridiculous. Best bits were the guy Adil who sold the handbags such a lovely man. Bar in B Block very boring, nothing going on at all. Beds comfy, maid service excellent. Wouldn't go again but it was a relaxing time 50% of the time
