On a little road trip we discovered tulbagh and this guest house, what a awesome village with a great historic street. The guest house is centrally situated and rooms large, comfy beds and clean soft linen. Friendly staff and as we had to head off early in the morning Carol came into cook the best breakfast I ever had eaten and wow the eggs all doubled yolked.

Travelled to Tulbagh for work and stayed overnight on a dinner bed and breakfast basis and enjoyed the whole experience came back with my loved one - the room was large and the staff friendly - greatwin welcome was amazing and the breakfast in the morning can highly recommend. Carol the host shared infomation about the valley. I left my glasses behind and carol kindly bought them to me in Cape Town

Our whole experience at Wittedrift Lodge was exceptional. Carol and her her staff were very welcoming and we were really made to feel at home. Having the freedom to not only sit at the (huge) dining room table for breakfast, but also if we had our own snacks, also made us feel comfortable and at home. There were very interesting conversations with the other guests around that lovely table! The lodge is beautiful and interesting and our room was lush! We can only imagine how cosy it must be winter in front of that lovely fire place! Dorothy is really a great asset to the place. Thank you for making our time in Tulbagh special!

We had a awesome few days staying in this stunning little spot, with 4 poster beds, high ceilings and amazing art collection. Well worth optiing for breakfast which was delicious. Art and antiques fill the walls and the beds are comfortable.

Roadtripping through Tulbach, this beautiful, Cape Dutch Style home drew our attention. Friendly Dorothy efficiently settled us in. High ceilings, spacious rooms and art contributes to an eclectic, cozy ambience. Our surprise was the company of PJ, the amazing meal prepared by Carol, enjoyed next a blazing fire with a glass of wine. A truly special experience.

4 ladies in the middle of winter, on an outing! Lovely place to stay, only complaint was the fact that the toilet was not enclosed or separate - fine with family, but not with friends!
