Very nice place for family, I really appreciate the managers work. They really care about their guests and make sure you are comfortable. The village is very cozy and quiet. Rooms have great view to the sea, its the first line . Restaurant is also very decent

Tip top - clean and very nice staff working - they are in good and Well mood all Day long - chef and kitchen staff tip top - not much to complain about - not to pricey and a good Four star hotel - food and sweets suprised us very positive - the staff cleaning rooms are super friendly as well as waitress in resturant. 5 out of 5 stars

We had a great vacation during our stay. The place is clean, just in front of the beach. The food is delicious and various, so everyone can find something for themselves. There was various animation programme held by two nice and creative girls like aquarobic, family waterpolo, mini disco etc. The staff at the hotel is very nice and polite.

Been back a week from this lovely hotel its beautifully kept in all areas and the staff work hard to keep it that way we were lucky to be upgraded as it was our 40th wedding anniversary which we very much appreciated we had an amazing room with spectacular view of the sunsets/sunrise ....the only bug bear was havibg ro ask for coffee milk top ups for our room as the cleaner missed this every day and we did bring it to receptions attention but ut didnt spoil our time here we always enjoyed our visit to the restaurant plenty to choose from ...location right on the seafront is excellent plenty of lovely walks around and a trip to Makarska is worth a visit too ....thank you Afrodita we had a wonderfully relaxing chilled break away

My wife and I once again have just returned from our yearly holiday at Hotel Afrodita in the resort of Tucupi and once more have experienced a wonderful stay. We were Greeted by Tina the hotel reservations manager and her professional and friendly reception team who could not show any more of a genuine welcome than they did. Our newly renovated room was fresh and brand new. Even though i always prefer a bath in my rooms, the brand new shower room surpassed anything we had in the past. Some of the new furniture in the bed room seemed unpractical and in other areas seemed more thought was needed towards further furniture that would enhance the feel of the room. The balcony renovation and new furnishings were just what had been needed for the past years. I was very pleased to see that the gardens had been well cared for and manicured to an excellent standard by the gardeners. The restaurant selections along with the fabulous staff and service, once again made us feel again right at home. Very glad to see and hear atmosphere in the pool bar and where as in the past we stayed away from this area this time we enjoyed each evening with a lovely cocktail and Pivo with some wonderful music played along with once more excellent service. We were very lucky to enjoy some very high temperatures while sunbathing by the pool, but more efforts are needed to provide more sun parasols to accommodate more people. We did wonder why the actual Afrodita signage had been taken down from the roof, along with the signage from the steps to the beach, but I am sure next year maybe new fresh signage will appear to the property and promote the 4 star property with pride. Overall the property renovations have started well and I'm sure there is more to come, but until then we both feel the hotel manager of Hotel Afrodita is doing a fantastic job and is making massive strides to bring in a new modern holiday experience within this paradise of a property. Easy, quick check in. Upgraded to family room which was not really needed. Views over sea was non existent as big plants in way. Beds comfortably. Very clean. Breakfast was just ok. Sausages were typical European. Mini hot dog style, chorizo style ( rather salty) garlic sausage which were not pleasant. Usual chef cooking fresh eggs including omelette. Bacon was streaky. More fat than bacon. Most staff were pleasant. Bar staff could try smiling. WARNING & this includes shops & restaurants outside hotel ( not that there are many) always check your change. Different change depends on what they have in change. Entertainment was not good. Every other night it was a lady singing. Very repetitive. Even daytime activity was only a nice girl doing aqua aerobics. Nothing else which was poor.

Originally we booked 4 nights but ended up adding one more night. Great hotel right on the beach. Large swimming pool at the right temperature. Room are specious modern and clean. Its a pet friendly hotel and the only downside was that our friends small dog was not allowed into the airconditioned dining area and we have had to dine outside.

My wife and I have just returned from another bi-yearly visit to Hotel Afrodita in Tucepi and once again we both had a fantastic stay. We always find all of the staff very warm and welcoming, but this year the overall feeling was that something extra was being given by everyone within the Bluesun family here in Tucepi. We felt this year that we were really being treated as individuals and that every effort was being made to go the extra mile to make our holiday stay extra special for us. Every little extra effort was greatly noticed and appreciated! I must also point out, that the gardeners do a fantastic job looking after all of the many varied plants within the maze of gardens that engulf each apartment. A very well-deserved pat on the back to each of them for all their hard work with these botanical gardens and I'm already excited at seeing how they manicure them further for next year! Thank you Bluesun and please keep up the great work that you're doing in Afrodita!

Beautiful location right next to the pebbly beach, near the gorgeous mountain. Beach was long, sea clear and quite shallow beach so it was great with kids. The surrounding nature was at its best during our visit, highly recommend the Osejava Forest Park which was at the end of the beach. We were the first customers arriving to hotel after the winter break and there were some difficulties with the sign in process, but nothing that troubled much. Very few people at the hotel in late May-start of June, so it was really peaceful and quiet. Staff was very friendly in all occassions. We had half board, breakfast and dinner were both good. Not much variety on the dinner options, though, but everything was tasty and fresh. Overall the hotel and rooms are in a bad need of renovation and styling, because it's really outdated. Especially beds were terrible to sleep in, very creaky and breaked your back. Updating the rooms would do a lot for this place because otherwise it's great! Good experience, after all, and we will definitely visit Tucepi again!
