Green Mountain Homestay

Really nice hotel with really good food! Our friends were jealous that they didn’t book the same one. I would even just go here for the food!

This is a very idyllic, relaxing hotel that is great on value. It has a very homely vibe but at the same time the whole property is very professionally maintained and felt like a small resort. The location is far from the Ninh Binh city (which is a good thing), but a bike ride away from the Trang An Boating complex and Mua Caves. They give out free bikes and also scooters ar reasonable rate. We took a family room, which was spacious and cutely decorated. The restaurant and the nearby seating is cafe quality cool so you can just take a drink and chill all day if you want to. There's also a decent size pool and some games. The staff is very helpful and arranged all transport seamlessly to and from Hanoi. Overall a great experience and definitely highly recommended! P.S - One of our most endearing memories from this place was of a little toddler in the restaurant who went around giving everyone toffees! ❤️

Super cozy, clean, beautiful place. The rooms/cabins are very nice, spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and ready to help and provide advice. The food is also wonderful, and with a variety of vegetarian options.

We stayed here whilst visiting the area and had a lovely time It has a mix of both private and hostel type accommodation, we had a private room which was spacious, clean and comfortable beds , also a very efficient AC system !! Lovely outside area to relax with great views of the surrounding mountains Good selection of food for both dinner and breakfast in nice lounge area There is a swimming pool along with free bikes and scooters for hire The family who run this as re so friendly and make sure you have a great stay I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone visiting the area

We loved it here. The staff were really nice and welcoming. The food was also really good and fresh - we had both breakfast and lunch. The lunch is fairly priced and breakfast has a set menu to choose from. The beds were very comfortable and a large single. The showers and toilets were very basic like they are in most homestay/hostels but there were multiple so you didn’t have to wait for a shower. We came here when it was coldish in North Vietnam so we didn’t use the pool but I can imagine it is nice when it’s hot. We were also able to use the bikes for free. We could see why they were free - they were old, rusty and squeaked but they did the job! It’s very close to temples and other touristy places, about a 10 minute cycle.

We stayed in the private rooms, and they were extremely comfortable, comparable to a four-star hotel. Initially skeptical about having meals at the homestay, we ended up dining here for multiple meals as it offered some of the best food we had during our three weeks in Vietnam. They also have three adorable little Chihuahuas!

We absolutely loved our time at Green Mountain Homestay! The space is beautiful and relaxing and our room was clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. Outside, there are a ton of chairs, hammocks, and loungers to relax on while looking at the gorgeous scenery along with a nice pool to dip in. We enjoyed the restaurant and had many meals there. They were all quite good with super fair prices. Breakfast is included along with bikes to take around the neighborhood. Everyone is very friendly and the dogs are super sweet around the property. We can't rave about this homestay enough and are so glad we chose to stay here!!

Beautiful homestay - In a stunning location, with gorgeous private rooms. Very friendly hosts who went above and beyond what was expected helping us get a taxi from the bus at 3am and making sure we were settled in our room. The food is also delicious. You can hire a motorbike for a small fee or get a bicycle for free, laundry service also available. My favourite place we have stayed in Vietnam. I wish we could have stayed longer, highly recommend.

One of our favorite stays in Vietnam. Amazing Quality for the price. In spite of some rain, we still had a great time relaxing and playing some games. Rooms are perfect. Lovely setting and very clean. We would recommend staying here while in ninh binh area. The only 'downside' is that it's pretty far away from other restaurants or bars. This wasn't a problem for us, because the food at the stay was great. But it's kind of remote.
