We had a lovely stay! Rooms well equipped, comfortable and super clean. Breakfast was simply delicious with daily baked cakes by Rosella,the host. Property very close to the centre and yet very peaceful area. Highly recommend Villa il Barone.

Our stay at the Villa iL Barone last September was one of the major highlights of our trip to the Southern Italy! Rosella, her husband and their whole crew were very courteous, caring and overall incredibly welcoming and hospitable throughout the stay. We will never forget amazing smell and taste of Rosella's pies (different each morning!). Must mention perfect location and the cleanliness of the villa and its beautiful front and back yards. We will definitely book with them again next year when we are going back to the Southern Italy! Grazie mille!

We loved everything about this place. It is located around 7-10 mins walk from Tropea Centre. The rooms are spacious, always super clean and the terrace accompanying our room had beautiful views of the city. Breakfast was always very abundant and served in your own private terrace at the time agreed with the host. Breakfast included: yogurt, bread, eggs/ham/cheese, sweet pie, croissants, fruits and coffee/water. The host, Rosella is the most genuine and kind, always smiling and gives off good vibes and happy energy. She tries to accommodate residents as much as possible. We knew we were missing on one breakfast, one morning due to an early morning tour. She made sure she prepared a packed breakfast including drinks for us to take with us on the tour !! She goes out of her way to make sure she provides an excellent service. Can't recommend this place enough ! Worth every penny !

Located just outside the periphery of the old town, the villa configured as a B&B occupies a serene spot in a quiet residential neighborhood in Tropea. We had a double room with a balcony overlooking the garden, there are (more expensive) rooms available with sea views as well. Our room was elegant, clean and very comfortable with a spacious attached bathroom. The hostess Rosella, despite her limited English, sets a new benchmark for hospitality - always accessible and helpful, always cheerful. She even dropped us to the train station when checking out, as we were leaving by train. Breakfast is a lavish affair, Rosella hauls trays full of goodies to your own balcony every morning and also serves freshly cooked eggs and homemade deserts. This counts amongst our most memorable B&B experiences in all of Italy. Tropea is absolutely beautiful, and the Villa Il Barone a perfect home.

Ho trascorso 4 giorni in questa struttura: tutto perfetto. Dall’accogliente e gentilissima signora Rossella sempre disponibile alla bella e comoda stanza dotata di ampio terrazzo dove ogni mattina viene servita una super colazione. Note di merito al parcheggio auto essenziale in un contesto cittadino dove parcheggiare è impossibile ed al bagno super efficiente e funzionale. La pulizia regna sovrana in tutta la villa; molto bello il giardino. Insomma Villa il Barone merita. Ottimo infine il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

L’accueil de la propriétaire Rossella est parfait! Il s’agit d’un très beau B&B nous avons réservé la chambre communicante car nous étions 3 adultes. Très propre et lits très confortables. A quelques minutes à pied du centre de Tropea. Le petit-déjeuner était très copieux même pour 3 adultes, nous n’avons pas tout mangé ce que Rossella nous a proposé. Le petit déjeuné est servi sur la terrasse de notre chambre qui a une très belle vue. Merci! Bruno P. Canada.
