콤플렉소 사코베오(Complexo Xacobeo)

THis is somewhere between an inn, a albergue or a hostel. Probably with albergue functions but also with en-suite bedroom that we had. It was definitely a nice place to stay; clean, friendly staff, nice room an positive attitude all over. Spotlessly clean and well managed. We had dinner and brekafast next door in a restauring with the same name. A very, very postive experience. The only thing negative was a loose electric socket in the room.

Rented a double room with private bathroom. Well run albergue, large enough that pilgrims don't have a sense of being on top of each other. Very clean. spacious room. Helpful to have washer and dryer on site. Patio in the back that allowed for some quiet journaling.

The room was large and very clean. We had a meal in the restaurant which was very good. The restaurant knows very well how to cater to pilgrims on the Camino. Highly recommend a stop here. They also open at 6 am for breakfast, which sadly was not on a par with our meal the previous evening. That would not however deter me from staying again

The food at this restaurant in Spain is very good. The service is also top notch. The food came out of the kitchen very quickly. This restaurant knows very well how to cater to pilgrims on the Camino. Highly recommend a stop here. They are also open at 6 am for breakfast.

The receptionist was friendly and spoke English. She had a lady walk us to our room and even carried one of our bags for us. The room was a good size with two twin beds and a good enough size bathroom. The hotel had a washer and a clothesline outside in the sun to hang things to dry. I seem to recall there was AC, but that it wasn’t very strong. We ended up leaving the window open to enjoy the breeze at night instead. We ate lunch, dinner and breakfast in their restaurant and everything was good. The server was friendly and helpful and the menu items were in English. The hotel is on the Camino when you enter the small town of Tricastela.

One of the very nicest place we stayed from Ponferrada to Santiago. And the first place we did laundry, so it has a dear spot in my heart. We had a triple room for 2 just because that's what was available. It was a lovely room in the second building with a nice, high ceiling. Very comfy and spacious (even for 3). I would recommend it highly enough that I suggest you make arrangements as soon as you know what night you'll walk through Triacastela. The lounge was nice, too, and we chatted with many pilgrims. I mean, they even have a boot dryer!! As well washers and dryers (which were the cheapest we saw), there is a patio with plenty of clothesline space (clothespins provided). The restaurant associated with the hotel was dynamite as well! I can see how its beer garden-like terrace would be wonderful in warmer weather. Nice bar there for a nightcap, too. This hotel+restaurant was excellent in all respects. Even the servers were handsome ;＞)

Very welcome sight, after walking so long

Giving this 5 stars because the staff was amazing. Chu went above and beyond to answer questions and make us feel comfortable. We had a room with two beds what was very clean and comfortable. We were on the top floor and it was very quiet. Food is provided by the restaurant a few steps away - they even accommodated us when we wanted breakfast at 6am.

Very nice albergue! Great staff! Super clean with bed sheets and blankets! Highly recommended! Washing and drying machines on site! The bed is 10 euros! I can’t even describe how nice the the staff was! I would definitely stay here again! Thanks
