호텔 발라시오 블란코(Hotel Palacio Blanco)

Second visit with friends to this lovely hotel. Nick and Lesley have worked extremely hard and have achieved a warm welcoming atmosphere, whilst managing to retain a feeling of seclusion and privacy. If you want an excellent base to explore the region you would be hard pushed to find better...and the hosts are more than happy to share their knowledge . Hope they continue to do well, they deserve it

It's been nearly 3 years since we visited our favourite hotel for "Palacio" time. And it is great to see it is still as good as it ever was. From the moment we arrived Maria made us feel at home. Maria told us all about the changes in the town in terms of new places to eat which was really useful. The beds are so comfortable and rooms so well appointed. The breakfasts are excellent and the honesty bar is brilliant allowing you to chill out in the sun and quench your thirst whenever you need to. We were in Velez during a festival and the atmosphere was electric. Great to see the town buzzing. A big thank you to Maria. Thinking about the next visit!

Off an unassuming street, this haven of tranquillity gives you an opportunity of discovering the interesting historic Velez - Malaga. We spent a week at this delightful small ( 9 rooms ) boutique hotel. It is a short bus ride to Torre del Mar for the delight of a beautiful beach and seafood restaurants. Maria is a wonderful host with knowledge of where to go , what to see and where to eat. The courtyard for breakfast is a delight and the rooftop pool and bar offers complete privacy for sunbathing and relaxation. We will be back !!!

Had a lovely stay, the hotel manager Maria was a lovely lady felt at home straight away the room was a good size with double basins and shower , a nice location with plenty of shops and places to eat , torre der mar beach a short drive away with plenty of fine restaurants and nice walk along the beach , so much to do and see ,

Hotel Palacio Grande is located right in the centre of town, close to everything. It is a lovely old cortijo with an inner court yart, with a small swimming pool and a bar at the top floor. The rooms are really spacious, nicely decorated, have a great bathroom and the beds are very comfortable. We were greeted by a very friendly French couple, who take care of the guests and the hotel. They offered us their parking lot right in front of the hotel! We had a wonderful stay there.

Très belle demeure, genre hôtel particulier. Belle grande salle de bain. Tres bien pour quiconque est en transit. A 45 min. du centre de Malaga en voiture, trop éloigné pour le touriste. Quartier tranquille et sécuritaire. Comme tous les établissements hôteliers à 3 étoiles, les bouteilles d'eau devraient être offertes en courtoisie.

Nos alojamos en el hotel a finales de agosto de 2021 durante 1 semana. No puedo entender las elogiosas opiniones escritas sobre este hotel. Al menos, para nosotros, no cumple con ni con las expectativas ni con los niveles de calidad esperados para el precio (140€/noche por una suite sin desayuno). * La limpieza no se corresponde con el precio del hotel ni de lejos (pelos no limpiados en ducha y en suelo del baño, papeles no barridos en días, cristales sucios) * La propietaria estaba empeñada en cobrarnos a mitad de nuestra estancia; parece que no se fiaba de que le pagásemos al final de la estancia * El mobiliario en las zonas comunes está desfasado y desgastado (por ejemplo, cojines de sillones exteriores) * La piscina está cerrada y no se advierte * No tiene ascensor. Estuvimos alojados en el segundo piso; si uno tiene problemas de movilidad o de corazón, le será imposible subir * La luz de un tramo de escalera no funcioana. Teníamos que utilizar la linterna del móvil para iluminarnos mientras subíamos de noche * Un aire acondicionado empapa el suelo de la habitación de agua * No tiene parking; como no es fácil de aparcar en las cercanías, cada vez que volvíamos debíamos aparcar lejos y llegar andando (con cuestas) * El jergón de la cama es de hierro con terminaciones en arista; como sobresale respecto al colchón, me rocé varias veces y me llegué a hacer una herida en la pierna En conclusión, ni volveremos ni lo recomendaría a un amigo

El sitio está, bien pero sin aparcamiento y 38 grados, tuvimos que andar unos 15 - 20 min
