포자다 파피루스(Pousada Papyrus)

The owner is a very friendly woman who bonded with us from the outset because we are from Vancouver and she loves the city. The triple room was spacious and clean with a modern bathroom complete with large opening window. Outside are several wonderful covered seating areas. The breakfast room is surrounded by full length windows so has the feel of being outside. The breakfast buffet is top notch. The owner had a good suggestion for a walking tour which we took and would rate 10/10. The only downside for some people is that it is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre although we found it good to walk after a dinner meal. We were there in early August and the air quickly gets chilly once the sun goes down so you need something warmer to walk home. Highly recommended.

Pousada Papyrus is a lovely, welcoming place to stay. The owner is most gracious, friendly, and knowledgable. The accomodations are clean and very comfortable and I liked that it is a 10 minute walk from the town centre. Very quiet at night. The breakfast buffet is delicious and plentiful. There are wonderful outdoor areas in which to sit and relax. I highly recommend staying there when in Tiradentes. Thank you, Eli!

Super helpful staff, nice accommodations, wonderful breakfast, very good location. Pousada papyrus is very well located for those who like staying in a place within walking distance from the historical center, but yet a little bit out of the tourist busy streets. Eli ( owner) and all staff were super kind and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

We checked out a lot of accommodations in Tiradentes and chose for Pousada Papyrus, and it was such a good decision!! When we arrived the maid showed us all of the rooms to choose from and we chose the one in house 2. Privacy and direct access to the garden which has beds to chill on. We noticed some couples had a romantic night there at the fire pit. The breakfast in the morning was the best we had so far. A lot of choice of fresh fruit, even avocado, fresh juices and eggs. But what really made our stay was the lovely host Eli. She was so welcoming and funny. She helped us book bikes to cycle around the area, but also gave some advice on where to travel next and translate portugese for us. Her english was really good! We liked it so much we even booked an extra night so we could also relax a bit at the pool. Why we liked it better than others because it has an amazing view on the mountains, a pool, a garden, and is a bit more quiet because its a little bit outside the center. But perfect for a short 10 min walk. And the host made us really feel at home. Would definitely recommend to stay here!

I spent several days with my four legged baby at Papyrus. The staff is super helpful, giving suggestions about what to see, where to eat, arranging tours…. The owner Eli welcomed us😉 with open arms and was a friend during my visit. I’d super recommend ♥️ Passei vários dias com a minha princesa de quatro patas. Pousada super limpa, pertinho de TUDO, ajudam com os pacotes, lugares p comer. Super recomendo! A dona da pousada, Eli, é super acolhedora! Amei ♥️

A pousada é muito boa, instalações, infra, localização e a equipe foi excelente. O café da manhã foi um diferencial. A proprietária está sempre disponível para ajudar, orientar sobre os passeios e gerenciar a equipe.

Excelente pousada! O quarto que ficamos é muito charmoso, com cama queen e muitos caixilhos que deixam a natureza entrar por eles, já que a pousada é muito arborizada, repleta de verde e pássaros (atrás dela temos a serra de São José, a vista é muito bonita). Também tínhamos vista da piscina e do bangalô de café da manhã. Chuveiro ótimo com toalhas grandes, limpas e macias. Piscina - fornece toalhas. Funcionários super atenciosos. A Eli (proprietária) é excepcional. Café da manhã Excelente: bastante variado com pães, bolos, ovo mexido feito na hora, queijo quente feito na hora, manteiga e geleias artesanais deliciosas e vários sucos detox, além do tradicional laranja. Recomendo muito! Voltaria lá com toda certeza! Ótimo custo benefício.

Todos são super atenciosos e preocupados em nos proporcionar a melhor estadia. Desde a reserva, procurando entender as nossos interesses uma quarto com vista, passeios e restaurantes mais interessantes. Quarto bastante confortável e com tudo que precisamos. o café da manhã é uma experiência bastante diferenciada. Recebemos deliciosos "mimos", banana maravilhosa e queijinho e bolinhos diferentes para nós, assim.que chegamos para tomar o café.
