Overall, it was not a good experience due to the unfriendliness of the staff at the reception desk. The facilities were good given that the hotel has been recently renovated. We could still smell the chemicals used for renewing the building (this wasn’t an issue but gives an idea of how new it all was). The staff at the reception was simply rude and unfriendly. They seemed to be angry at having guests arriving. After staying in Zermatt and Zürich where we were welcomed to our stay, here it was as if we were bothering by checking in. I believe management should address this, as the location and facilities are great, but arriving and feeling unwelcomed is not the best feeling when staying at a hotel. If service is improved, I would definitely come back.
