We had come here last week. Even though we reached early they were able to accomodate us and arranged for breakfast. The staff are very helpful and always do their work with a smile. A special mention of Mrs Usha who is kind of their all in one staff. She was here, there and everywhere. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone interested in traveling a little out of Trivandrum in the midst of nature.

OOnwardTravellerJust a couple of minutes walk from the Cliff with restaurants and traders and then a short walk down to the beach, this is a top class hotel with large comfortable and well equipped rooms. Lovely pool, excellent WiFi, free underground secure parking. Breakfast was a little average with hot food that was not hot but when this was mentioned on the second morning extra freshly cooked food was provided. Very helpful and attentive smiling staff.

리리뷰어The Leela, Kovalam is an amazing hotel, which my 11 year old son and I would highly recommend! It is on a cliff top overlooking the Arabian Sea. We upgraded to Club Room, which provides you with access to The Cafe, a restaurant serving Club members complimentary breakfast 7-10:30am and High Tea 5-6pm and additional a La carts chargeable lunch and dinner. The Club room is exceptional, with a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the Arabian Sea, King bed with very comfortable mattress and bedding, fantastic walk in shower, sink and toilet, with all the toiletries. Rooms are cleaned well and the food is wonderful. We ate everything safely with no upset stomached here and the staff were wonderful! We would happily return!

NNatalie LI’ll start by saying that we only booked this guesthouse as it was pretty much the only one available for our dates in Varkala that seemed well located and wasn’t a hostel in a dorm room (we are a married couple in our 30s and are passed the days of sleeping in a dorm bunk bed!). BIG MISTAKE! Following 7 weeks of travel in India and staying in almost 20 different guesthouses and homestays, this was by far the worst! One of the most expensive out of all the properties we stayed in and by far the worst in terms of facilities, value for money and management. Where to begin… 1. Frequent power cuts on our first day turning the lights and AC off in the room 2. We stayed in two rooms (one AC and one fan). Almost none of the plug sockets worked in either room with the exception of one 3. The shower was practically pointless and the water came out in a tiny trickle in both rooms. Not very practical for showering. We used the bucket for showering (which we have done many times in India, but not expected here considering it cost 2-3x more than other properties we stayed at in India). It’s also a wet room (common in India), but no mop/brush to push all the excess water into the drain (we had this in majority of our other guesthouses) so you’re walking into a soaking wet bathroom every time you enter 4. The rooms didn’t feel 100% clean - we were walking on sand before we even went to the beach and even felt sand in the bed! 5. Speaking of the bed, this was rock hard and super uncomfortable 6. We shared our AC room with 4/5 geckos each night. We are ok with nature and insects so this wasn’t a huge deal for us but just FYI incase you are not. There are vents in the room that allow insects in easily, despite them having some sort of sellotape over them to try and prevent this 7. There was construction work happening (either the property itself or next door). When in the AC room we were woken up quite early each morning with loud banging and drilling practically outside our window. The workmen also left their tools on our balcony 8. We were interested in doing the cooking class offered but were told that this was not available because the owner Suresh was too busy at his other property in Varkala (it’s called Gypsy Walker so will assume is also poor quality). Just as well, wouldn’t have wanted to have given another penny to this property! 9. The property requests that shoes are taken off before entry and left on the designated shoe rack. Respectful of the property’s policies and Indian culture we did just that. On the last day, one of our pairs of shoes was stolen from the rack. We know this happened that day as they were there late morning when we went out but not the evening when we returned to get them. When we informed Suresh of the issue, he was incredibly rude, shouting abuse at us down the phone and accused us of lying to get compensation out of him - incredibly insulting to say the least. We were told that no one has access to the property

The hotel's traditional Kerala architecture, characterized by wooden features, added a touch of charm to the overall ambiance. Situated just steps away from the pristine shores of Kovalam Beach, the location couldn't have been more perfect. The homely food served here was a culinary delight, offering a taste of authentic Kerala cuisine. Clean and well-appointed rooms provided a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. I can't wait to return to Kovalam Beach Hotel for another memorable stay!

리리뷰어사우스 파크는 시크릿에서 매우 가까운 거리에 있으며 Sree Pad *** abaswamy 사원에서 멀지 않은 도시의 중심부에 편리하게 위치해 있습니다. 우리는 표준 시간보다 2 시간 이상 전에 체크인 할 수있었습니다. 매우 좋은 크기의 객실, 편안한 침대 ***** 깨끗한 욕실이 있습니다. 우리는 4 층에 방을 할당했습니다. 일부 가구는 걱정되지 않지만 구식으로 보일 수 있습니다. AC 기능은 외부 날씨가 완전히 반대였지만 방을 매우 추웠던 약간의 문제였습니다. 장소의 종류를 고려할 때 음식, 특히 아침 식사는 나쁘지 않지만 더 나을 수 있습니다. 여기에 머물면서 그리 멀지 않은 도시에서 다른 더 나은 음식 옵션을 시도하는 것이 나쁘지 않을 수 있습니다. 호텔 직원은 협조적이고 정기적인 요구 사항에 신속하게 참석했습니다. Thiruvananthapuram으로 여행할 때 고려해야 할 좋은 숙박 옵션입니다.

Great place and warmly welcomed by Mr. Reji. Very polite helpful. Room is very spacious and had a good view of the sea. Overall, satisfied with the stay @ Gateway. One small request would be to have snooker table @ lobby. Can work on food, especially fish. Rest everything was memorable.

FF772MMdavidvHad an amazing time at Kovalam, this was the 7th time I have stayed at Hotel Sea Face. The location is fantastic, right at the beach and the view from our room was absolutely amazing. We could watch a pretty sunset right from our room. Staff was courteous and helpful. Full marks for service, hospitality, location and the view from the rooms. The room was spacious, neat and clean and had all basic facilities but do need a little TLC. The food was amazing, but the menu wasn’t fully available.
