Poseidon Bungalows

I spent 10 days at Poseidon bungalows in December 24. Unfortunately not long after arriving I had a serious fluke accident outside and away from the premises and needed a hospital stay. The owners of Poseidon went above and beyond all expectations to help me. They visited me in the hospital to make sure everything was ok , they drove me to and back from nurse appointments after my release from hospital on several occasions and generally had my well being monitored. I would have been very stuck without their kindness. All of the staff were absolutely incredible. Once I got back to the bungalow they bought my meals to my bungalow 3 times a day and made sure that I was very well taken care of until my departure. They were not obliged to do any of what they done for me but they did not have to be asked they just done everything naturally from the kindness of their hearts. What I did manage to see if the property was so beautiful. Hidden away in serene nature and minutes away from beautiful beaches and restaurants. My bungalow was very clean and well maintained with a very comfortable bed with a great view. The food that they made for me was delicious and some of the best I ate on my trip. I will definitely return again to this beautiful place and recommend to anyone who wants to visit this area of Thailand. I cannot Thankyou enough for your generous support and kindness. Beautiful quiet setting, jungle on a beach, really friendly staff, booking management who went way out of their way to assist (luggage storage, side tours, airport transfers, accommodating us after checkout time), just what we were looking for before and after a liveaboard dive trip out of Thaplamu Pier. A great and very welcoming stay in an off track and quiet heaven. A five min walk to restaurants down the beach if needed. Thoroughly recommend Poseidon....

An absolute gem. Beautiful huts set literally on top of a beautiful beach. We opted for the basic hut (no aircon) but it had a very strong fan which kept us cool. Beautiful little restaurant with wonderful food and great service. Upon arrival we were too late to eat as the restaurant was closed but they were very kind to cook for us which was very much appreciated. There is a fantastic beach (Paradise Beach) which has a restaurant and bar on it, as well as sun loungers and parasols. It’s set in a cove type setting with another cove immediately next to it with lots more restaurants. Sea was very warm but didn’t see much snorkelling. Overall would have love to have stayed longer here and will definitely be back!

I have stayed at Posidon bungalows quite a few times and I never get tired of staying there Possibly one of the best places I have ever stayed at during my travels Olov and his staff go out of there way to welcome you and sure your stay is memorable If ever your not sure where to stay in Thailand...then try Posidon bungalows..you will not regret it

So quiet and nice place. The most wonderful and loving people are working at poseidon. Our kids eating breakfast at the kitchen our last morning. The love the warm atmosphere in the living room. We can only give the place our best recommendation! Thank you for the best days near Khao Lak ❤️ nice and cozy beach restaurants where they love kids and our kids love to be there!

Based on reviews here, we were seriously disappointed to be shown a seriously shabby bungalow coupled with truly lackluster service. We immediately asked to upgrade and were told the place was fully booked - it was not. 'Really regret locking in a 3 night stay with no cleaning service or amenities - even had to ask for our own toilet roll which was given with a scowl. The breakfast was overpriced and vile - once was enough for that. No shampoo, bottled water, etc. Disappointing.
