아하 타카두 리버 캠프(Aha Thakadu River Camp)

An excellent six day stay. The Itinerary was perfect to our needs. Great sightings of animals. Superb food and attentive staff. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. This was our first safari encounter, but we have no hesitation in recommending this location.

From start to finish our stay here was amazing Game drives started at 5:30am and again at 4pm . During the day we chilled by the pool and watched the animals in the watering hole , which in itself was amazing Taino was our driver and he did everything he could to make our game drives special We managed to see the 4 out of the big 5. Elephants , Rhino , Zebra Giraffes and lions to name but a few The drinks nibbles and blankets provided were also a special touch during the drive Food was very tasty and service impeccable Would I recommend this place ? Most certainly yes . We will treasure our memories forever Thank you so much

Fantastic place to stay, great staff and amazing location! A very special experience. Game drives were wonderful and the knowledge of our ranger Billy, fantastic! Lucky to view lots of animals from the lodge including elephants bathing in the river ...

We just spent 3 nights at Thakadu River Camp. Jerry is an amazing game ranger who went out of his way to give us a spectacular game-viewing experience. The tents were immaculate, the food excellent and the staff friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this beautiful place.

We stayed in two tents here, and I have to say AC in a tent was a new one for me, but greatly appreciated during the heat of summer. Our drive was Satiss, and he's an absolute gem. Game here is crazy plentiful. Before I lost count, we had 15 rhino sightings (including one black), 5 wild dogs sighted, 5 lions (2 males), and far too many elephants to count, including one here one of 22. Food was splendid and huge portions. You must go to the deck area at the end opposite the tents to see what is playing in the water. An elephant entertained us and seemed to take as much joy frolicking in the water as we enjoyed his antics. Staff here was top-notch. I have no complaints whatsoever!

There’s not enough room to put all my reasons for really enjoying my stay here! Staff superb they go above & beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay, food absolutely superb , guides brilliant and cleaners make your rooms cosy for coming back in evenings, anyone looking to go on safari should definitely book here! We enjoyed it so much we’re going back this year!!

What a memorable, wonderful experience at Thakadu River Camp. Every aspect was superb, from the staff, game-ranger, game viewing, food and environment. I loved the resident elephant who hangs around the watering hole at the lodge, which was such a joy to watch. The stars were so bright that it felt like you could pluck them straight out of the sky! I can't wait to return.

All was amazing, the people, the place, the food, the safari, the view. I have been sick with fever during most time of my stay but all the workers took care of me. I had an amazing experience and I would definitely come back.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was great. Our ranger, Percy, was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience outstanding. The entire staff had a birthday show for a guest that was very enjoyable!
