Bad experience at the very expensive cabin Villa Uno/Atra Doftana, marketing deception. We couldn't use the kayaks, though included in the price, allegedly the water was low ( but a lot of people were on the lake). A bicycle didn't work properly, it was very dangerous. Dangerous stairs inside and outside. The window of one bedroom didn't open at all. Flies on the food, inside the restaurant. After complaining at the Tourism Ministry, they found out that these people were functioning illegally, without authorizations, absolutely outrageous. Not to mention the bad, narrow road. To be avoided!

Not the place people talk about. The location is nice, the landscape is also nice but the food and the general client service is bad. Everything we eat was bad, the food was some how romanian but with a twist. A bad twist. Somebody should change the menu or at least mention that the food it’s not classic cooked. Pretty much dissapointed about the whole experience

The location is wonderful, the service is amazing and the restaurant is very nice. We will definitely have a great time here for the next two days. The wine menu is very interesting and you can choose from a big variety of styles and brands. All Romanian wines.

I visited this five stars pension house with my wife, it was a surprise from her. I have been here before, but only for a short visit, there were no rooms available. I was pleasantly surprised, starting with the kindness of the employees, but especially with the impressive view. I wish I had taken a walk on the lake, but it rained. Even so, we took a walk in the rain, the smell of the forest is worth the effort. Another detail, even after so many years, the design of this pension, has not yet been matched by others. At a closer look, one can also notice the technical complexity of the construction execution. But along with the view, futuristic design, and integration into nature, it has emerged as an unforgettable source of experience. In addition, we participated in a tasting of Romanian wines, accompanied by a demonstration of culinary art, which convinced me to forget that "I do not like" pheasant meat, venison, turbot fillets, presented in a artistically mode. Friendly employees, cleanliness, wonderful view, made a simple visit, an unforgettable experience. I wish to spend another night, in winter, when everything will be white around, the fire will burn in the hearth and in the fireplace of the restaurant, and the wine in the glass will happily complete the story.

Haute cuisine and great wines assorted in a wonderful landscape. Paltinu lake is impressive even on rainy days. Dishes prepared here and wines chosen are at the great standards. Finish the day on fire camp will define the beautiful atmosphere and fresh mountain air.

On of the most beautiful places in Romania. The location, the food and the people are exquisite here. Great place for a weekend relaxation or business team buildings, fine dining together with the view and calmness of the place makes this location a must for a visit when you are near the area. Easy to access, road has been well improved and the whole ace has a great story altogether.
