리틀 데인 코트(Little Dane Court)

Lovely place very close to Tenterden town, good room and cooked breakfast.

The property is over 500 years old and has a few creaks which add atmosphere to the beautiful building. The conversion to guest accommodation has been tastefully carried out with lots of Japanese furnishings. Rod cooked a very good breakfast and was the perfect host.

Overpriced for what was offered. Pros - Location in heart of Tenterden with parking. - Nice courtyard to relax in. - Good shower once it heated up. Good quality bacon and sausage from local butcher. Cons - Standard size bed and pillows uncomfortable. - Unimpressive delux suite and room too warm. - Overall range of breakfast items was limited - no pastries or cut fruit offered and cheap poor quality sliced bread provided. - No choice of coffee other than filter. Host came across as sensitive when tea and coffee order was mixed up and made my wife uncomfortable. For the price paid, we expected better and have certainly enjoyed better.

It was a luvly little b&b we stayed in , was immaculate Only complaint we had was when we came back late evening our room was very cold And going to bed seemed a bit damp , it needed a little heater in room , fried breakfast was a bit cold bacon under cooked But a pleasant stay none the less

Lovely for a short stay, very central for Tenterden and walking distance of shops restaurants and bars! Great to have parking, be prepared it's a bit tight. Lovely room and facilities, lovely breakfast. (could have done with a few more tea bags in the room!

We stayed in the 'Corner Room', I maybe didn't read the description properly, but the bathroom was across the hall, not ensuite, wasn't ideal. It's a lovely old house, but this comes with a few inconveniences, the floor boards are very creaky, walls are thin, and no lock on the bedroom door (although you can lock from the inside), I found this very odd, but we just didn't leave anything valuable in the room. The host, Rod, was very helpful, and the breakfast was very nice. Very hard to get taxi's in Tenterden, we were going to Chapel Down wine farm and didn't want to drive, Rod suggested getting the bus back there for dinner, which was very helpful, and then Chapel Down had a few other taxi numbers, thankfully we finally managed to get one back.

Would return to this lovely period Establishment. Great room with quirky features but all the mod-cons where feasible. First rate breakfast.

We stayed in the so-called de-luxe suite and whilst the en-suite bathroom and shower were excellent and the room as a whole was really clean the bedroom and sitting area was disappointing. Whilst we have had a lot of rain recently the room was damp which was a shame as there is under floor heating. The room is bounded on one side by the courtyard where the owner serves breakfast to all guests on warm mornings and on the other by next door’s driveway. The bed is very low which guests need to be aware of. The breakfast is adequate but no fresh fruit. Overall this is not luxurious as advertised.

It was a unique property to stay in, very old but still very comfortable. Rod was an excellent host. Very good location to visit Tenterden and surroundings.
