Booked at the last minute, visited Ironbridge museums, clean, comfortable lovely breakfast choice, full English food was hot and tasty, good service. For what we paid it was exceptional value. Lovely location.

Great place and staff but who ever the new bunch of people who own it rub it or whatever are rude and made me and my girl feel very uncomfortable it's never been like this and I have been going there since a kid

Nice hotel in a great location. Room very clean and bed comfortable. Wi-Fi only really available in bar and dining area, not in guest room. As usual I was given a room next to a noisy person, must be my face. Apart from that very good…breakfast good as well with friendly staff.

Yes it was great and the people are so nice come to you with a smile on their faces and make you feel very happy when your have good customer service and all over a fantastic time there and thank you for having us

Stayed here with our hikinh group for three night half board. Really impressed with the room I was given especially considering the price. Clean, spacious, plenty of hot water for a bath, great water pressure on the shower. Quiet, dark room. Balcony. Food was excellent, cooked and continental breakfast, 3 course evening meal with choices. All well cooked, presented and hot. A miracle seeing as they were serving 43 people. Siri the general manager was very friendly and went out of his way to help us, I'd say above and beyond. All staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend and I'd definitely go back. We had a lovely few days here at the beginning of March. We knew that the hotel had been going through some bad times recently but we're pleased to report that it is on the up again. Admittedly it does need a bit of investment but it was comfortable and welcoming. We had heard some bad reports about the place but our experience was quite enlightening and it put all our worries to rest. Our room on the ground floor overlooked the gardens and it was a nice size, clean and very comfortable. It got a little bit chilly through the night so we asked for a small heater the following morning and we were given one with no problems whatsoever. It made us much more comfortable during the night. The food has improved tremendously and despite our trepidations we were very pleased. The breakfast choice was quite extensive, with a choice of cereals, full English breakfast or continental. The evening dinner menu had lots of choice and everything was prepared to a very good standard. There were no worries at all. Sadly, on one day, just before 4am, the fire alarm went off and kept on going off. We later discovered that some "kind person" had deliberately triggered the alarm activation devices on every floor. Not funny. When we spoke to the engineer later that morning he was going to go through the CCTV recordings to identify the culprit. We must give our sincere thanks to the manager Siri, who is an absolute gentleman. Nothing was too much trouble and he always went out of his way to help. His professionalism, politeness and efficiency are second to none. To paraphrase Arnie, "We'll be back".

I just stayed here and really enjoyed my stay. Friendly helpful staff willing to go above and beyond for guests. Great food and service. Clean rooms. Good location to wellington Station and good for hikers. Highly recommended. I would come back again.

Unfortunately we didn't get to experience this hotel as they cancelled our booking just 2 days before our trip. We have now had to cancel our weekend away due to being let down at short notice. They did not even give a reasonable excuse and annoyingly in their emails back talked about how they hoped we would stay with them again, despite the fact we haven't even stayed there the first time!!

I stayed recently and never again. As you drive in I joked it looked like faulty towers and I wasn’t wrong. The room was damp. The radiator was turned right up as I opened the door to get into the room the heat hit me. I saw also near what seems like a boiler which kept me awake or woke me up during the night. The food was awful. Clearly all shop bought and little effort made. I actually wished I’d ordered food in or brought food in with me on the Saturday night. The signal is awful and good luck if you want to watch the tv. We tried watching a football match and at one point ended up 15 minutes behind because it was lagging that much. One of the waiters tried to charge my double for a round at the bar and which was the final straw for me. I wouldn’t recommend it or stay here again.
