셴킨 호텔(Shenkin Hotel)

Me & my husband booked the hotel online for 1 night, paid online. arrived at the hotel, the receptionist told us there's an extra fee ($30) we need to pay,although our payment confirmation stated that"all fees included" - we paid. Next: "oh you need to add $70 more for the room" - why? We asked, " oh the currency changed " double checked the currency - didn't make any sense so we decided to cancel and go to another hotel. "You can't cancel, and can't get your money back". And she laughed. Seriously? Never had this before. So unfair and deceptive attitude of the staff that just ruined our staying here, and it's a shame because the hotel itself is really good.

The hotel is very clean and the staff were super helpful. Breakfast, if you purchased it, was at two different cafes and it was amazing. I highly recommend it. The only issue we had was the outside noise, but that's kind of expected, the hotel is in the middle of a big city. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is situated on a residential street in Tel Aviv. Room was just ok. No outlets close to bed side. Bathroom and shower was leaky Bed was comfortable. Nespresso machine in the room. Also espresso in lobby is free. No on site restaurant Little noisy

Lovely hotel, very nice decor and spacious room. Massive bed and comfortable. Bathroom had both a bath and shower as well as attachments for washing sand from your feet. Brilliant staff team. Did everything they could to help and make the stay so nice. Free glass of champagne on arrival was nice way to start the stay. Coffee /tea station in reception 24hrs. Roof terrace was beautiful with the hot tub. Was lovely on the last day be for we had to depart for traveling. Hotel in a great location and if you can use the lime bikes or scooters you can get around the city with ease. Taxi are good. Get the app gett. This way your taxis are on a meter and are charged to your card for ease. Other taxis will try to charge you double the fair off the meter. Definitely will be back and definitely will stay here again.

After trying airbnb in neve Zedek that was filthy and didn’t match the pictures, we evacuated to this hotel, the staff were amazing very helpful, nice, super services oriented. We loved the small jesters like the bubbly wine, cookies, coffee, fruits and snacks, the rooftop was fun, the jacuzzi was 2 small and didn’t feel clean enough but it was the end of the day. We received tiny room without any view or space to put our suitcases, I know the hotel was over booked and they did tried to move us to another room day after we arrived, but we were so tired of moving so we decided to stay in the tiny room. I would recommend this charming hotel for short stay and make sure what room you booked. The crew were amazing and made me feel great, safe and clean. The sheets were cotton and quality, just great. The common area were life saver because the size of our room, but it was charming. Few things I would recommend to the owner: 1. better Maintance 2. larger rooms 3. better insolation, sometimes I thought the rooms’ door was opened but it wasn’t because I could hear everything. 4. The common area was charming but need upgrade, paint, furnitures, pots and plants, more swing chairs and better configuration. # If this could be change this hotel will receive 5 stars what was great is the services of the front desk and the manager Tali that really tried to make our stay amazing

Well, the first word that comes in my mind is "overpriced". A lot overpriced, crazy. However, I can't blame the hotel for its cost, since while I was trying to make a booking before my arrival in Tel Aviv, I noticed that the hotels' cost was just too much. Everywhere. So, the "Shenkin Hotel" was overpriced comparing to what you would receive for the same stuff in other places of the planet. But, for the Tel Aviv's standards, perhaps it wasn't... Firstly: Very small room. The small airbnb kind of thing, where you pay 35-40€! Honest! That's what I thought when I entered the room. Basic sleeping quality. The bathroom, is located just near the bed, and seperated only with a glass door, through which you can see most things. Is that a problem? It depends. Like my wife told me, what happens if one of the couple wants to...... poop? Well, I don't know your habits guys but I don't like to do that kind of thing with my wife listening clearly, seeing and (no way to avoid it I think) smelling! Sorry. I hope that's the case only for the room we stayed. Thankfully, we were there only one night and didn't feel the need to... do that. Window view? Again, cheap airbnb stuff! The nearby home's yard!!! Can't believe we payed 132€ for one night!!!! But again, perhaps it's Tel Aviv's fault-not Shenkin's fault. Hotel's stuff was exceptionally polite, I have to say that. I liked the "make your own coffee whenever you want" corner. And I liked the breakfast which was served at a coffee house nearby-was nice. Would come back? Certainly not. I would try my luck elsewhere, hoping that I could get something better for that amount of money. And, if it wasn't for the stuff's politeness, and perhaps my general (great) impression from Tel Aviv, this hotel wouldn't get more than 2 out of 5 rating.

Perfect location minutes walk from "shuk hacarmel" , fair prices, friendly service, clean and cozy rooms and public spaces. It's our third time in this hotel and probably will be back. A nice rooftop, coffee and tea corner with cookies, but it is about time to think of vegan ;) options

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and very conveniently located - I’ll definitely stay here again. The complimentary bar of chocolate was great too!

It was a very clean , nice and a convenient place to stay in Tel Aviv. Front desk was very helpful.
