BayWatch Hotel

Not easy to find in the mezzanin, double bed splitted, toilet very worn out, smell of rotten water in the room: of course it wasn't a brand new structure but price, position and seaview were remarkable. Bath tub was great!

It was hard to find, but finally after asking a local, I got to the hotel. Then I didn’t know how to check in. After calling the number on the door, I was able to find the check in desk. The area was a bit run down, but I guess Tel Aviv was awarded the most expensive city in the world to visit, and I picked a cheaper place, so what should I expect?

I don’t know who wrote the previous reviews but this place is simply awful. It is not a hotel. It is more like student accommodation. The reception is in a cafe up some uneven steps, quite a way from the rooms. Toilet leaked all the time. Handle was completely off toilet door. My room was never cleaned or made up in 3 days. No plugs in basins. Only one mug and it was chipped. No restaurant or any type of eating place. Door didn’t lock from inside. My pictures tell the story. Avoid if you are expecting anything other than the very cheapest student accommodation. I did complain about these things but nothing was done to fix anything during my stay.

It’s not a standard hotel, was not easy to find but we liked it. Take sea view if you can, it’s more quiet. On the other side it could be very noisy if you open windows. Balcony was not a balcony, but public walkway. It was view of marina, barely could see the sea. But still was nice. Don’t expect your room to be cleaned everyday. Also liked the atmosphere at the reception bar. They have a hostel as well, organised some events. Saw some hotel rooms have showers right in the rooms.

The location was very convenient for me. It was cheap but I had everything I needed. I honestly would have given this place a lesser score but they have been very patient with me pestering them non stop questions. I was asking for invoice and non stop requests. I wish the walls were thicker. I booked tours so I had to wake up early in the morning and other occupants have been complaining. They could hear my alarm sound going through the thin walls. They offered me a free upgrade with the sea view but I didn’t take it. I was too paranoid that I would be charged. I just hope they have someone at the reception from time to time

Property is hard to locate. Communication was nonexistent- my email was not answered, phone number not available, at least, I couldn’t reach anybody at the number provided. But property was located, everything else was great. Good location, clean rooms- nothing to complain.

Incredible value for a clean and tidy room right on the waterfront. Yuvell was just delightful. It is tucked away in the middle floor of a somewhat decrepit building but once you find your way there, the rest is smooth sailing.
