On 9 August I booked a Junior Suite at this hotel for 21 - 24 November via **********. Payment was to be made on arrival at the hotel per the ********** website and as stated in the ********** travel confirmation. In early October, the hotel demanded I pay 50% of the cost in advance by bank transfer or the hotel would cancel the suite. I refused as I had no protection if something went wrong. During numerous conversations over several weeks, ********** took the side of the hotel even though the hotel had broken the contractual terms. A warning: that this hotel feels free to be able to change contractural terms (although no doubt they would hold the customer to the terms). And ********** sides with the hotel and not the paying customer.
