호텔 빌라 갈레 알바코라(Vila Gale Albacora)

역사와 이야기가 있는 아주 좋은 호텔. 호텔이 만석이 아니어도 식당은 시끄럽습니다. 뷔페 개념 때문에 매우 혼란 스럽습니다. 레스토랑 직원은 실제로 손님에게주의를 기울이지 않았습니다. 안타깝게도. 쏘는 벌레도 많으니 10월이나 낮에도 주의하세요.

Fue una sorpresa encontrar a Tavira uno de los mejor hoteles que he visitado en mi vida. Ubicacion my linda con un barco que te trae a la playa cada hora, las abitaciones son de buen tamano y limpia, la piscina grande con el agua climatizada o la piscina con spa cubierta. Termina todo con un buen restaurante a buffet o a la carta. Con este dinero no pensava encontrar todo esto, casi da 5 estrellas

The bathroom was very nice - a good shower, good quality towels, room to put our toilet articles, well lit. I wish I could say the same for the bedroom. The floor tiles near the door had not been laid well, and one tile was too high and the door stuck on it. There were no drawers to put things when we unpacked, so we had to pile them on a long table on the wall opposite the beds. The rods for hanging clothes in the closet ran front to back instead of sideways across the closet, so it was difficult to hang clothes. And the room was very dark. I had trouble seeing the numbers on the combination lock on my suitcase, and even with a headlamp reading anything was difficult. There was no overhead light, just four lamps, and the switch for one of the lamps had gotten behind the long table, which was too heavy to move, so I had to get down on the floor and reach under the table to get at the switch. The lobby was very nice, with a comfortable sitting area, but the door was open most of the time, so the place was full of mosquitos. Staff was very nice and helpful, and when we reported a leak under our sink, it was repaired very promptly. The best thing about this hotel in my opinion was the dining room, where there was an excellent breakfast and dinner buffet with a huge variety of very good food.

Stayed at this hotel for the second year in a row following my cousin having his wedding here last year. I absolutely love this hotel. The food is amazing as are the services provided by the hotel. It has a very relaxing and peaceful vibe. Special shout out to the bartenders: Keegan and Pedro! They really took care of my family and I. They made us feel very welcome and well looked after. They are both very special and interesting individuals who I really enjoyed speaking to. I'm glad to have met them. They also make fantastic cocktails. Another special shout out to The Animation Team, they were tireless in their efforts to involve guests in fun daily activities around the pool as well as providing amazing entertainment in the evenings. They are all incredible entertainers and very good at looking after guests and getting people involved. They helped us create a lot of good memories during our stay here. The personal touch at this hotel is definitely there. Tavira Island is just a short boat ride away. You can also get a river taxi from the pier by the hotel up to Tavira Town. I love the vibe of this place and I think this will be a hotel my family and I will want to regularly visit in the future for our family holidays. I will definitely be looking to come back here next year to relax and have fun. Thanks Vila Galé Albacora, I'll see you next year!

Located on the site of an old fishing village. They have renovated everything to a high standard. Staff are very helpful. Rooms are a decent size and comfortable. The decor feels dated but I suspect that is because it has been kept in keeping with the original function. Breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of hot and cold options. A la carte and buffet in the evening are also very good. The buffet seems to be included in the large groups who can visit which creates a bit of congestion so that night we opted for a la carte. Pool area is lovely with a special area for kids. We took a boat trip that was also good value . Downside is that you are out on a limb so would need to drive in the evening. Also mosquitoes- I don't know what they can do about them but they are vicious. We did have a problem with our room but it was changed with no fuss. We very much enjoyed our stay here -it as a good "chill out" It's about 45 mins from Faro airport

I had stopped writing reviews generally, but felt our stay here was very good. A unique building and location. We went out of season, so avoided the worst of the mosquitoes, but this meant the hotel was quiet and only some services were available. For example The shuttle bus only went 5 days per week and we were not aware until too late that the ferry to the island only went from the town and not the hotel quay. The buffet dinner was reasonable, but limited and expensive for what was offered. The included breakfast was enjoyable but some more healthy options ( Seeds , nuts, berries ,dairy alternatives) could have been offered Staff were all excellent and helpful. Our room 226 was a little basic ,but a very good location with fantastic views. I think a little more could be made of the history but the museum was a nice touch but more on the building would have been good.

This four-star hotel in Tavira had every amenity and great service. In addition, the buffet breakfasts and dinners were very varied and good. The property is huge. It is broken into “streets”. I would love to return for a longer stay at this beauty.

This a large hotel with quite a corporate feel. Its origins as accommodation for tuna fishermen are interesting, and add some character in the form of the retention of some of the communal buildings. Our room was comfortable and well equipped, but it is important to manage the significant presence of mosquitoes on the site. It is a novel location close to an extensive beach and lagoon. Dinner and breakfast were reasonable, although the size of the hotel makes the dining room a busy place.

The front desk man was not communicative. The wait staff wos overworked. Some trainees are workimg very hard and are friendly, but other employees were quite rude We paid extra for a Rio view. The bathroom had almost no ventilation and no curtain for the shower. The shower was not safe. The glass divider moved and one could easiy fall into it. We asked for a shower mat as we said the bath tub floor was slippery and unsafe. The front desk man said "i dont think we have those". We asked for washcloths and he said they would be delivered, but they weren't. We loved the natural surroundings and the historical setting but cannot recommend the accomadations in the main part of the hotel because of the outdated and unsafe bathrooms
