We planned an overnight stay as we were travelling through Taroom. Didn't expect much. Just needed a quite and clean stopover. Met Patsy and Rod upon arrival. Place looked a little dated but these hosts were so welcoming, we felt at home right away. Rod gave us a great spot to remain hitched for the night. Amenities building close to our site is old but beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. We will definitely visit them again. Only reason I can't provide perfect score is to encourage the owners to upgrade facilities which these dedicated managers and visitors deserve

We stopped overnight and arrived after dark but we’re delighted with the fairy lights around the park! The owners greeted us even though the office was closed and showed us where our site was and made sure we were ok before leaving. The kids were excited to go exploring and were thrilled with the skeletons they found 😆 Thank you for a memorable stay!

Great new knowledgeable managers tidy park clean amenities Nice river walk to town or alternative walk via road Manager gave good tips advised re Eastern brown snakes at river during this period Easy walk to town iga and pub Pub has courtesy bus and meals were excellent Beer cold reasonable price

Stayed 2 nights in our caravan. Park on Dawson River nice walk from park. Very clean amenities. Owners so delightful only been here 12 weeks. Would certainly recommend. Nice flat sights. Very quiet away from highway.

We stayed a couple of nights at a powered site with our small motorhome. A very pleasant little park, under new management (as of April 2022) and the managers Yvonne and Graham are lovely people. Facilities are clean, with good hot water and good camp kitchen. Good location with a 500 metre pleasant river walk to the centre of town. There is a local pub, bowls club and cafe for meals. A great little town and well worth a stop for a night or three.

We have never been to Taroom before but we will be returning - and with our fur baby! The cabins have been or are being refurbished. Ours was brand new! New beds and bedding, updated bathroom and a lovely deck for a sundowner or two! Easy walk into town - 500m along a cement path following a creek - beautiful! We ended up at the local Bowls club for dinner - very good decision. Loved our stay ❤️

Nice clean freshly painted amenities.The park managers are very friendly and helpful.The location is a beautiful bush setting,and very quiet of a night.It has the est over night rates I have come across everand it is right on the Dawson river.

New managers were very friendly, Quiet area, Clean cabins but were a bit dated, no WiFi managers are trying arrange. VAST TV was good, aircond nice and cool was turned on before we arrived, a nice touch. Give this place a try.

Stayed here recently, and was met with quite friendly managers. Apparently the place is under new management, and they seem to be doing a good job. The cabin we stayed in was very clean, and at an affordable price. Worth a stay if you need somewhere to sleep for the night or two.
