We loved our stay at Schlosshotel Chaste! The property is charming, peaceful and relaxing. Gian was extremely helpful in planning our stay in Tarasp and throughout Switzerland. Thank you, Gian! During a recent bike trip across the Alps from Italy to Germany, my wife and I were delighted by our stay at the Shlosshotel Chaste where we had an excellent room, a fine meal, and a generous welcome by the staff.

Everything about Schlosshotel Chaste was superb. Our room was large, with an outdoor patio, and immaculate. It is a family-run hotel, and is truly a labor of love. John, the son of the owners who oversees the general running of the hotel, is amazing. He was always available and ready to help, with tips for hiking and sightseeing, and all sorts of info to make our stay enjoyable. The restaurant is top-notch, we ate there all four nights of our stay and thoroughly enjoyed every meal. We will come back!

We were excited to return for the caring service, stylish inspiring rooms and total ambiance, great patio lunch, gourmet dining, and obviously the unbeatable scenery. Thank you so much for having us and until next time!

We have been visiting Schlosshotel Chastè for over 20 years - the top-level quality, warm & spotless house is perfectly maintained and even improved. Gianni Pazeller, the family member who now manages the hotel, is a first-class host with constant attention to detail. His 'compère', Chef Andy Heidenreich is at the pinnacle of his art. Besides the two deluxe fixed menus and the à la carte, Andy produces an original choice gourmet menu...EVERY DAY (!) for hotel residents. Where else can you enjoy a creative 1-Michelin star-level menu as a half-board arrangement ? (is the red guide asleep at the wheel not yet awarding Andy the star he deserves?) Gianni's parents Daniela and Rudolf, artisans of the house as we know it today, make a point of stopping by each and every guest at dinner. Schlosshotel Chastè is, in essence, a superior 4-star, gourmet property with a 'pension de famille' atmosphere. In lower Engadine, there are plenty of places to visit using the complimentary public transport by rail and postal buses that takes you effortlessly to spectacular views and untouched nature surroundings. If one returns again and again to the same place, there's a good reason!

We really could not have asked for more, with the Swiss National Park at our door step ( we started and ended our hike right at the hotel) . Along with the entire Schlosshotel Chastè, a genuine and highly professional experience. A definite recommendation, we really enjoyed every moment of our stay and will return ( the National Park is stunning) without a doubt. Thank you!
