리야드 모크타르(Riad Mokhtar)

Our first riad in Morocco, and we were totally smitten by the trees, the birds, the gorgeous decor, the amazing breakfast. Visited with my 16-year-old son before my husband joined us in Fes. Beds were soooo comfortable, and we were very happy here. Nice location at the top of the road right next to the kasbah. Highly recommended!

Stunning Riad close to Kasbah and Medina. A simple door from our room led to a private terrace overlooking the harbour and rooftops of the Medina. The Riad courtyard is stylish and the French restaurant fabulous. The decor is a Moroccan treat.

A beautiful petit hotel stay with a lovely restaurant and a fantastic location to boot. Riad Mokhtar was everything the website showed. Run by a lovely couple the staff is professional and helpful. The location is perfect to lug your bags from the car parking lot nearby. Room was very comfortable for 3 of us with our 8-year old having her bed made on the couch. The restaurant on the ground floor with Italian cuisine was lovely and the food was of super quality. The breakfasts were great too. One of the nights it got super busy with voices carrying all the wya to our 2nd floor room. Though by 11 it was quiet. They have a nice though small bar with a decent selection of drinks. We couldn’t really enjoy the beautiful courtyard as it was chilly in the mornings and evenings.

Lovely riad at the doorsteps of the Kasbah. Arriving post midnight to a large, clean and beautiful room with a very comfortable bed was great. A delicious breakfast was served in their green and vibrant courtyard by courteous staff. Enjoyed my stay - wish I had more days.

This Riad is a surprise the moment you walk through the giant wooden door to the garden. The rooms were decorated nicely with a Euro Morrocan feel. The patio door opening to the garden offered a nice fresh air option. The restaurant was small and quaint and the food fantastic. The location offered easy access to to shops & the staff offered a great restaurant suggestion for lunch. I felt like we were guests in someone’s home! Highly recommend it!

Excellent place to stay right in the qasbah. Iftar and breakfast was very very good. Madame Julie ( the hostess) gave us some amazing recommendations. She even called a restaurant to reserve a special dish for us there ( at le mirage). All staff was very nice. The price we paid included iftar and Sahor/breakfast. 2 of us fasting got boxed sahor the first night and rest of us had breakfast but the next day we had to catch a train and the front desk agreed to give us breakfast earlier than usual. But the owner ( I think he was the owner) politely refused. They suggested we make coffee in our rooms but there was no cream there. Even refused to serve any bread or pre made boxes or coffee. That was very disappointing as at a riad ppl will always hv planes or trains to catch and we didn’t ask for made to order hot food.

Lovely place with lovely people ! Beautiful big and clean room, big and comfortable bathroom, wonderful breakfast just the same, lunch or dinner. The garden is such paradise, hard for me to leave that place. At any moment I very much recommend this Riad. I will for sure go back there.

Comfortable well appointed junior suite with the added benefit of in room coffee and tea. The highlight of our stay was dinner in the restaurant which was exceptional, especially the Chicken and Lemon Tagine and Crème Brûlée. Our compliments to the chef.

This is a review of the Restaurant M at the Riad. This was a first class dinning experience with great service and value for the money. We both had sea food, Carmen had the John Dore and I had the Octopus. They were great to look at, even better to taste. A nice bottle of wine in a well designed space, a very comfy evening. The resto is a bit hard to find, so check your smart phone and perhaps consult a local. The Riad looked great too, perhaps pricey, but worth checking out. I was very impressed with the design of the overhead lamps that hung in the lovely space.
