Radisson was our regular stop on the way to Bangalore. It used to be great place to rest and relax after a long trip. Being regulars at Radisson Salem, we have noticed the quality of the service drop in recent times, especially the Front Desk. This time, after checking into our room, we noticed a broken toilet seat. Immediately informed front desk because we thought the hotel might blame us. They gave us another room but during checkout, as expected, the front desk ***ager blamed us for the broken toilet seat. We told him that we informed them of the broken seat as soon as we checked into the room. We didn't have a chance to use anything. The ***ager says he has to prepare a report. I guess it is easy to put the blame on the guests rather than investigating the staff. Anyway, the experience has left a sour taste in our mouths. Word of advice - when you enter the room with the attendant for the first time, check everything with him present and bring any issues his notice immediately. We no longer plan to provide our patronage to Radisson Salem after this experience. Breakfast buffet spread is great though dinner is a little expensive for a place like Salem. The items were not fresh, especially the non-veg, as we all got upset stomachs after having dinner.
