마우이 팜(Maui Palms)

We stayed in the new apartment part of the resort. The room was nice - spacious and modern. Wasn't really a fan of having the TV at the head of the bed, as you could hear it in bed even with the volume down low. The AC vent is also directed at the head of the bed as well. We were on the main floor, so we were a bit concerned with privacy. There is privacy glass installed, but if you look really closely, you can still see a bit inside during the day; not sure if this is worse at night. We just kept the blinds closed the whole time. We had issues connecting to our wifi in the room. We also had problems with getting hot water. The resort staff was helpful and sent someone in to have a look right away, although we were never able to get any hot water ourselves. We had a cockroach problem in our room, found a couple our first night in the kitchen. The staff were good at addressing this and came by to spray the kitchen down the next morning. This worsened the problem as we came across many more that night in the kitchen and bathroom. The last straw was when I saw a cockroach on my daughter's toothbrush. We were then moved to the penthouse in the main part of the resort. I found the penthouse incredibly dated, and in need of repair (hardness on the tub drain prevented us from being able to drain the tub, shower base leaks, windows cracked) It is an incredibly large space, but the upstairs is wasted because there is no fan or air conditioning up there so it ends up being a sauna up there. The space is probably so under utilized which would explain the magazines from 2015 that I found up there. I think they should put air conditioning up there and perhaps convert some of that space in to more bedrooms. You also lose some of the amenities the apartment had in the penthouse such as the washing machine and dishwasher. The bed is comfortable, the shower isn't as nice as in the apartment, but at least we got hot water. Wifi signal much better than in the apartment. We only saw a couple of cockroaches in the penthouse, but we did end up having a mouse in the place too. Once again, resort staff were quick to respond. Not sure if they caught the mouse or not, but I did notice that they taped up the bottom of the doors. We had breakfast included. There isn't much variety on the menu, and I was hoping for more fruit and fresh juices. Room service is free, so that's a nice perk. There is a gym on site, I didn't go in so I can't comment on how equipped it is. There are 2 pools - one in the main resort and one at the apartment side. Not shallow enough for kids to play in though. The pools are both frequently cleaned by staff. The shoreline is not as picturesque as I was hoping, and you need water shoes, but there is lots of fish in the water and the water is fairly shallow. The coral is not very nice here. Some mosquitos, but not as bad as I thought. Avoid sitting outside at night and use mosquito repellent if sitting in the

Excellent service and accomodation at this boutique hotel. The staff was excellent. Big thanks to Neel, Andi, Felix and Sonali for making us feel welcomed and at ease with their prompt attention to out needs. The food is Excellent and the a la carte menu was a nice touch instead of a buffet. We stay in a one bedroom beach view apartment that was spacious and beautiful. Some local restaurants near and a great spa called The Pink Spa. The beach is rocky but serves for great snorkeling. I suggest bringing reef shoes. I found the hotel rates reasonable. . It does not feel like you are at a hotel at times. That is because the staff don't pester you or over extend their services etc. I would stay here again with no issues nor concerns

Maui palms was the best decision ive made, i came for a wedding in naviti and wanted something more personal and i got that and more. The staff r top tier and so lovely,the food amazing! The pools r quiet and reef walk beautiful. Just go ! Il be bk for sure 😊

We loved this place. First of all the staff. They make you genuinely feel welcome, most even know you on first name basis. They were always around for a help, activities or just a friendly chat. The setting of the villa area is beautiful. The outside of the adjacent appartement building we liked less. The pool there is nice but too dominant and the lack of trees a minus for us. The food is nice and fresh. They ask you for your dinner choice quite cleverly during the day, hence you don‘t have to wait for your dinner. Our villa room was tasteful and clean.

Staff were excellent & welcomed us like we were family. Extremely helpful without being too intrusive & by chatting with them, they were able to help us to decide how to fill our days. From the various activities we did, of note was kayaking at high tide & the Reef walk & snorkel with Felix. He pointed out so many things that we, otherwise, would have missed. We were on the all-inclusive food package. There was a wide variety of food which was plentiful & presented to a very high standard. The cocktails were also very tasty! The whole environment had an exclusive, boutique type feeling which was very relaxing. It’s a little bit of paradise in Fiji. Wayne & his Fiji Family work extremely hard to ensure the best experience for all their guests Highly Recommended. We would definitely stay here again if we were lucky enough to return to Fiji.

As an Expat living in Fiji for the last year and a bit, Maui Palms has quickly become our favourite place in Fiji. We have stayed in many places around the country since we moved here. I spend many hours researching everything before I go somewhere or buy anything. The food in Fiji is generally expensive in hotels so based on the reviews I had read, we opted for the Fullboard package when we booked. The food did not disappoint it was wxcellent and we reckon we saved a considerable amount on the package. We were greeted on arrival by Neel, who became our contact point for the duration of our 5 night stay. We found all of the staff to be incredibly friendly, something that is common in Fiji. We booked the 1 bedroom beachfront apartment and were located on the 2nd floor. This room was the best room we have stayed in anywhere. The views from the kitchen, lounge, bath and bedroom were spectacular. The property only has 18 rooms, 2 swimming pools, a gym and a tennis court(which was being resurfaced at the time of our stay so we could not use it). The wifi is a fibre connection and was unlimited and super fast. A big shout out to Duwai and Felix for the guided snorkeling and reef walking. A must do and also complimentary. We also loved the Fijian lovo and kava ceremony and the Indian curry night. We will definitely be returning the next time we get some days off. Thank you Neel and your team at Maui Palms.

Maui Palms is a really good little resort with friendly staff and a great position on the Coral Coast. We did the fully inclusive meal deal which is great value and there is a really good range to choose from. We were lucky to have dry days through rainy season and really enjoyed our stay here. Felix is great and if you get the chance to go out snorkelling with him he'll show you the best spots. Cabin's are basic but comfortable enough, though the aircon struggles a bit so you need the ceiling fan too. Overall a great little place with attentive staff in, if you like smaller resorts then this is great.

My partner and I started here for three nights in January 2024. The staff were so incredibly welcoming! Our room was gorgeous, comfortable, and well equipped. Andi made our stay so smooth and trouble free - she and the whole team were lovely, friendly and helpful (we even got hugs goodbye from Titi!). Felix lead us on two amazing adventures - the reef walk in particular was incredible. We stayed at three different spots and this was by far the best - we left wishing we’d booked our whole vacation there! We highly recommend Maui Palms.

Had the most amazing week long stay at Maui Palms with my girlfriend and can’t wait to come back again. We stayed in the new “Lux Apartments” with an ocean front view… the apartments were well equipped and more than comfortable however the view was to die for! The new infinity pool facility was amazing and the surrounds extremely relaxing. A short walk to the local coffee shop, supermarket, restaurant and bottle shop make this an ideal location to stay if you’re after a quiet boutique couples getaway with some home comforts nearby. The resort staff were kind, courteous and attentive as only Fijians are… Neel managing all of our activities bookings and Adi providing a lot caring customer service with a sense of humour at the front end… thank you to the restaurant kitchen staff for the preparation of delicious fresh meals during our stay. Special thanks to our host Wayne for our amazing stay at your resort… see you on our next visit without a doubt!
