I went to check in and the gentleman told me I could not use my fathers credit card for the security deposit because my father was not present to show his ID I understood what he was saying but he was not warm or polite about it and he continued to gossip and smile about the situation with his co worker when I walked away, he shut me down when I was frustrated and did not seem to care I drove two hours there from Bellingham and needed to be there for my daughters cheer competition the following morning at the time it was around 11pm and my options were limited and I had already paid for my room weeks before. The worker was not helpful or empathetic about the situation he kept telling me no ma’am anytime I tried to find a solution I was clearly very panicked and upset, it was terrible customer service with a very uncaring employee. The hotel was beautiful but I noticed a lot of the time during my stay no employees were at the front desk they were hiding out in the back for a long period of time and I overheard a woman even complaining about no workers never being up front she seemed very angry about the matter, also calls were rarely answered. I understand it’s a big hotel but it’s such a bad look with 0 room service and no employees around for help, I am also a VIP member I looked forward to staying at this hotel because I was assured great customer service care and that was not my experience at all. I will not be coming back.
