房間雖然很小，但是早餐非常好，驚艷到我了。

Have just returned from a 2 night stay for our friends birthday. On arrival the car parking space sign wished him a birthday which was a nice touch. Once in the hotel we were taken into the snug for coffee & cake which was nice. We then were shown to our rooms. They were lovely with amazing wooden bedsteads & headboards which are sourced/made locally. The room/ bathroom was spotlessly clean & you had everything you could need. Breakfast was lovely with lots of different options. On our friends birthday the lovely lady serving played Congratulations by Cliff Richard & we ended up having a bit of a sing song! Lol. Maurizio was a fantastic host & very informative. The rest of the staff were great too. My only small criticism is that it would be nice if the wood burner was lit in the snug as it was a bit chilly & would temp you to stay longer. I would definitely recommend staying here as it’s a little gem. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed here for my birthday celebrations. What can I say. This little gem is truly amazing. From the personalised free parking space, to Maurizio the owner who was very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed fresh coffee and cake upon arrival. This hotel has a beautiful atmosphere and is well located in the village, walking distance to the train station and The New Forest on the doorstep. We were upgraded to the Brusher Mills room, as it was my birthday by a lovely lady called Jackie. The room had a four poster bed made from amazing wood which I believe was locally sourced and made. It was very comfortable with good quality toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with lots of choices. You were totally spoiled. We were lucky with the weather and went on long walks. I would definitely recommend this little gem of a place.

Amazing hotel, a warm greeting by Jackie on arrival with tea and cake. We wanted two rooms next to each other. Everything was perfect. Both the breakfast and the restaurant offered high quality cuisine, nothing was too much trouble. It was enhanced by having a reserved parking space which took the stress out of the final part of our journey. Excellent accommodation and location , we will be back very soon Thank you so much for such a lovely stay.

What a lovely hotel. Great to have a named parking space. Room small - but very clean. Best thing was to be able to have breakfast freshly cooked with no buffet! Not many places seem to do this anymore. Staff were friendly and polite. Would stay here again without a doubt.

We had a lovely family holiday at the Cottage lodge hotel ! We stayed in "Wilverley" room for 2 days & "James hat" on the last day. Both the rooms were nice & clean with unique decor to suit the forest area. The breakfast was typically English & was tasty. The local products like honey, jams & marmalade are highly recommended. Maurizio, Jackie, Cristina & other team members made our stay comfortable.

Cottage Lodge is the ideal location from which to explore the New Forest and the village of Brockenhurst with the wild ponies and wild pigs wandering around the village unconcerned by people or vehicles which is quite unique. It is in walking distance of the village, restaurants and pubs. We were given a warm welcome on arrival with afternoon tea and cake which was lovely. A good full breakfast was served in the light, sunny dining room. Sadly our room Standing Hat was not what we expected, whilst clean the timber furniture was in dire need of some tender loving care. The bed linen was worn and torn and the duvet was so thin it felt more like a sheet than a duvet. The window frames (inside) were covered in black mould which health wise is not ideal. The bathroom with its brown institutional linoleum flooring was old and in serious need of renovation especially the shower which flooded the floor each time we used it due to the door of the shower enclosure having been removed and the shower curtain replacing the door was too short and billowed out onto the floor when the shower was used. This was not a new or unknown situation as there was black fungus along the floor edge and skirting boards. We brought the flooding shower to the attention of a staff member who said she would speak to the manager to see what could be done. Sadly the manager was missing in action he/she never spoke or saw us during our three night stay. We however were fortunately able to get additional towels from Vilma one of the housekeepers, who was very helpful, to mop up the water after we used the shower. Furthermore the water in the shower became a cold trickle when the guests in the room above us used their shower at the same time as we did and at five foot ten and a half my head touched the ceiling of the shower which was very awkward indeed. The towels were old, thin and we hardly wanted to use them because they looked so grey and almost dirty which there weren’t. Whether we would stay at Cottage Lodge again is debatable as we do not know if the other rooms in the hotel are any better.

Cottage Lodge is our favorite place to stay in the New Forest, the location is ideal not only for access to numerous walks, but also there’s a great selection of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The location is convenient for the coast,Winchester & Salisbury. Excellent breakfast selection sourced locally. All staff welcoming & attentive. The rooms are very comfortable with each being very individual.

From tea and cake on arrival, to brilliant breakfast, I just can't fault the Cottage Lodge Hotel. With a super cosy room, I had one of the best nights sleep in a very long time! I love that you need to book your slot for Breakfast - it means everythings cooked to order and the dining room isn't crowded. Lots of locally sourced and eco friendly herbal teas, plus soaps and shampoos from local forest based suppliers. Thank you to the staff for making my two night stay just perfect.
