I've been coming to Bulgaria for 10 years and stayed here before which was better than this newly refurbished bit all the waitresses staff could not be better but as for the managers except the night time 1 John were the rudest off off people didn't care came for a 2 week stay and was moved rooms 3 times the first room I was in was in was shocking no air con what's so ever the temperature un the room at night was 36 degrees I was assured thT because it was the weekend the couldn't get the parts to fix it because the hardware shops would be closed wee stuck it out as long as wee could my partner had to sit on the balcony all night as couldn't sleep at all on the early hours off Sunday morning she fell asleep on the balcony and twisted her hole kneck so we're moved till a room with a tiny bit off air con and a fan my partners who holiday has been ruined by it she lift her head all the when she's out off the room all the guests are asking me is that your partner what happened to her balkin holidays are a disgrace for advertising this hotel it should not be opened its not completed I spoke to the rep and he very close to being hit no sympathy at all kept sticking up for the hotel smirked about my partners kneck she went to cyropractoer twice and she's still the same the food was very samll opions and cold and the pool was stinking with bird fieces which wasnt clenned 1 time will wee were here every other person in the hotel got £100 per person back and 20% discount wee got offered nothing shame on the owners for wanting to make a few pounds openning early ad shame on balkin for advertising it rooms are beautiful degin but threw together so they could open wall paper peeling off the walls peoples showers leaking all over the floor because the showers haven't been sealed b

This was sold as a Sheraton hotel, but apparently Sheraton did not and will not look at taking over until 2024.While first appearance looked ok, in my opinion about 20% of the hotel was occupied. When we arrived it looked like we were the only guests though a few more appeared, then more in the second week.We were told by staff Sheraton advised that the hotel not be opened at all. We were also informed by staff the hotel was open for an experimental period. So we were guinea pigs.The 2nd floor is like a building site while others up to the 5th are in various stages of work. There was NO a/c working on the 7th floor while our room on the 6th had poor a/c. We heard horror stories from other guests of water pouring through ceiling lights, floors flooding from the showers and one room and invested. The pool was dirty and taken over by seagulls around 5pm when the sun disappeared from pool area, and bird droppings were everywhere. The food in the restaurant was more or less the same every day at breakfast and not a lot of variance in the evening. The food was warm at best, but often cold. I would advise not going near this place this year and doing some in depth research if considering next. For me, this was a first and last with Balkan holidays.

Accommodation: this has just been refurbished by four points by sheraton and to be honest, we were some of the first guests to stay here. The guinea pigs of the opening. The Accommodation is refurbished to a high standard, however, hardly slept here as the air conditioning in the rooms does not work, so slept with the doors open, onto the main *****, so you can imagine how that was. We complained about the air Con and they just said there was nothing we could do and offered us free drinks instead. Pool: very quiet with no atmosphere so very much a relaxing couples hotel.. wouldn't recommend for families with kids. Also, bird poo all around the pool which never gets cleaned up Staff: the staff cannot do enough for you and are very attentive. Although sometimes it does seem like as there are not many guests, they stand around a bit bored. This will obviously change when the hotel opens fully Food: food here is delicious and the chefa are always coming out and asking if food is OK and if anything can be done different. Cannot fault the food at all. Location: this hotel is right on the beach and right along the main ***** of bars, shops and restaurants. Ideal location if yoy have the option of closing tour doors at night to get some sleep. Because of the lack of air conditioning, we did not. Overall: the hotel is nice with a few bits of attention to detail with the decor. Food is beautiful and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Would I stay here again? Probably not. After 7 days of hardly any sleep and covered in bites from leaving the door open at night, one night even makeshift a bed on the balcony, I can safely say I wouldn't stay here again and I cannot wait to get home

I am a solo traveler so the single room was the right size for me and it was clean. It is located 7 minutes from the train station and right next to the Market. I was only in Florence one night so it was good for me but if I were in Florence longer I would probably pick a place near the Duomo or Arno River.

Clean and in reasonable condition room great overlooking beach end of season so very quite with limited facilities but still ok all inclusive meals bland and generally lukewarm but will sustain life staff friendly

Me, my Mum and auntie were pleasantly surprised by the amazing service at our first stay at Globus Hotel. From the booking experience to our last minute - we loved it. Special thank you to booking team Tanya & Svetlana who listened to our requests & last minute inquiry was completed within minutes of our call. Our room was as we wanted it - amazing sea view, bright & spacious. We went for a few days first weekend of September. Everything was so clean, food - fresh, with great variety of choice. The whole team - reception, concierge, waiters, room attendants were very welcoming and friendly. It was spotless clean every day. Special regards form -Annie and Nicky (mum & aunt) Highly recommend. We will be back next year. Thank you , guys!

I was so disappointed as the hotel had gone downhill from My last stay. Manager (I think) stood by reception was rude and shooed me away when I asked for the WiFi details and when it would be fixed . Food was awful, toilets dirty and nobody seemed interested . The only thing is it’s in a good location !

We booked fenix but got a email afew days before to say it was closing early so balkan changed our hotel to the globus that was supposed to be a 4 star the same as the fenix More like a 1 star, the staff were rude on the first day i asked for wifi to be told it had all been sold for that day then turned his back on me went the following morning asked a lady receptionist and she asked for room number and give me a code for a weeks internet i asked how much and she said it was free on day 8 when it ran out i went back to reception for another 3 days when a male receptionist told me it was 15 lev i said it was free when he started shouting at me no its 15 lev i told him the lady had give me it he screamed come back when she is on then, We were in the old building on floor 5 were music was blasting from the night club till 6am, The room was old with holes in the walls the toilet would only flush once every 24hrs the shower was so small you had to step in it sidewards the toilet was leaking at the bottom so when we returned from a night out the floor was soaking wet, wont be traveling with balkin holidays again

Rooms were cleaned everyday food wasn’t great so we ate out no big deal would 100% recommend for location and self catering - we read the reviews before we booked and they didn’t put us off so it shouldn’t to you
