We enjoyed our week at this hotel but we weren’t expecting much and we’re not overly fussy. Pros Snack bar was good and the staff really friendly- yes we queued for pizza but it was freshly made so that’s to be expected. Animation team were fabulous Reception staff wanted to please and spoke pretty good English Good bathroom with a spacious shower Regular top up of water for fridge The staff work really hard all day in the heat- some speak little English but not an issue Central location Huge pool area with space for all Cons Rooms dated and not cleaned in a week (not a problem for a one week stay) Buffet food a little repetitive- but not really a huge issue Had to ask for fresh towels Sofa bed in room is not comfortable at all The biggest issue was some of the other guests who came across rude and would jump the queues. We had to put our towels on sun beds the night before There was nowhere for adults to sit to watch the entertainment- this could be reviewed It was fine for a week away and we made the most of our stay and secured a holiday at a great price. If you want luxury this isn’t it but if you want a break at a good price then it’s fine. Tips: The Nessebar waterpark is a must for anyone visiting. Worth the money.

Worst hotel ever. Paid for 5 days, leaving after 2 and moving to another hotel, happy to take the hit. Smells of school dinners, grotty in every way, chaos at check in, everything tired and shabby, food disgusting. Daughter slashed her foot on loose pool tile after 10 mins. Some guy said he had seen burgers and sausages (i hope they were sausages) floating in the pool. It’s a truly horrible hotel - i hate it

I’m normally a person that comes back from places with mixed reviews saying I don’t know what people complained about but this time the reviews are pretty much correct. Not many English speaking staff. We asked about a safe on check in but she just said the price and said they have it not in room which made me believe you give them the items to put away but I noticed on last day on other side of reception was a safe room with all the safes in a wall.Food was same pretty much everyday and not labeled to what it was. Just a picture of a chicken pig or fish. Snack bar to get pizza was ridiculous. Chef would cook 1 pizza at a time a huge oven that could easily cook 4 at least then 1 person would take all the slices and then the next person would wait another 10/15 mins by the time he rolled another so we only managed to get pizza on the last day. Sun beds..well this was the worst ever encountered on any holiday. They’d open door around 8.30-9 to go outside and beds would be gone in minutes and then they’d leave towels overnight on beds and some kept their beds the whole week. Location was bang on and big shout out to Alex and Nicole on animation team. If it wasn’t for them English guests would have no hope

Where do I begin! We booked 8 days all inclusive for myself, my husband and our baby who is less than 2 years old. I want to start with a positive- The hotel is in a great location, but it’s quite run down. For the first 4 days, we had no Wi-Fi and were told that it’s being fixed and will be fixed by tonight- this went on for 4 days. The plastic ceiling in the bathroom came down in my husbands head, we spoke to the manager who was lovely and offered to change our room and it would be fixed the very next day. We stayed in our room as the upheaval of moving everything when we’re not in the room most of the day seemed pointless. The ceiling was fixed the next morning. The dont always have pool towels- sometimes you have to go without, we were u aware that we needed to bring our own as all inclusive we’ve been to have always provided them. I said before, my baby is less than 2 years-l old and dropped stuff over the side of the high chair (I would always pick this up after we had finished eating). The waiter Alex came over, waving his fingers in my baby’s face telling him to eat off a plate and trying to force feed him with an adult fork. My husband was really annoyed and asked him why he would do that to a baby and explained that he was eating off the high chair and he would only smash the plates if they were in front of him. We were both really angry, he said he was asked to say something by the bar staff- but wouldn’t tell us who, so we could challenge them. The last day we were there, we had finished eating and I was picking bits up from the floor and the waitress called us dirty Romanians- I challenged her and asked if we had done something to offend her. She walked off and I called her back over to ask what she had said- she again said, I called you dirty Romanians. I said that’s a really racist thing to say about someone and explained that we were infant English- to which she replied…… even worse and then preceded to throw the rest of the drink of water over my husband. I was livid at this point and told her that I don’t know who she thinks she is. No one came over to check on us- it appeared that the man in charge by the door had all his entertainment and as we were leaving to catch our taxi to the airport- (so I never got to report it) he went over to ask on the waitress. The bar in the lobby- staff were the same. The girl working behind there was talking to someone. I waited while they finished their conversation, but another gentleman came up and she stopped her conversation and served him. After a while she looked over and said yes, which I can only assume that was my time to order. Entertainment team were lovely, very friendly and they seemed to have a good rapport with all the children on site. Food was very much the same every night which got very boring. Our recent family vacation at the MPM Kalina Gardens Hotel Resort in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria did not live up to our expectations of a perfect paradise. Unfortunately, we encountered several issues during our stay that left us feeling disappointed. Firstly, the room service was quite irregular, which meant that our rooms were not cleaned and towels were not replaced as often as we had requested. It was frustrating to return in the late afternoon only to find that no cleaning had been done, forcing us to hang our towels to dry and search for toilet paper. Additionally, the lack of key cards for the doors made us feel uneasy about the security of our belongings. This outdated system is not ideal for a hotel in 2023. Furthermore, we discovered that the curtain was hanging off at one end and the balcony door couldn't be locked due to a broken catch. The hotel staff, particularly at the main bar, did not provide the hospitable service we had hoped for. Their attitude was abrupt and unwelcoming, making our interactions uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this lack of customer service extended to the buffet system in the restaurant and pool snack bar. The waiting times for food were unreasonably long and the variety of options was extremely limited. We had the same buffet every day for two weeks, which made our dining experience monotonous and repetitive. The quality of the food was also disappointing, nowhere near the standards we have experienced in Spanish all-inclusive resorts in the past. One issue that greatly bothered us was the lack of regulation regarding sunbeds. Many guests would reserve them in advance but leave them unused, resulting in a shortage for those who genuinely needed them. Despite this clear violation of hotel policy, the management made no effort to address the issue. Additionally, the pool area was dangerously slippery, causing several children, including our own, to have accidents and hit their heads on the tiled floors. While we understand that pool areas can be naturally slippery, it was disheartening to see no efforts made to ensure safety. Installing anti-slip tape around the pool area, as they have done by the baby pool, would be a simple but effective solution. Lastly, the entertainment provided by the hotel was subpar. It was the worst we have ever encountered in our travels. There was nothing that could be considered entertaining for adults once the children's activities had finished. The only saving grace was the amazing Alexandra (Alex) and the children's entertainment animation team. Alex made our children's holiday enjoyable with her wonderful activities and entertainment. She truly deserves praise and recognition from the hotel for her efforts. Overall, the MPM Kalina Gardens Hotel Resort did not justify the high price we paid for our two-week stay with our family of eight. Stayed as a family of 5, 3 adults 2 kids, 2 rooms. One of the rooms was not cleaned once in the weeks stay. The hotel itself was clean. Sunbed wars daily. The food was to a good standard. The pool opening times were 9-6 so no early morning swim. The quests were mostly Eastern European. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the beach and main *****. Lots of different, fun places close by but far enough away so not to hear. For the price I couldn’t really complain.

Was at this hotel last year, OMG how can it change so much in a year. The food was horrible, they took 9 days to hover our bedroom, the springs in the bed were through the covering, there were never hand towels in the gents toilets at the poolside. My wife is disabled she tried to enter the disabled toilet and a cleaner said no no no, as she entered the disabled toilet was full of cleaning materials etc. The roof round the air conditioning system, in the room, was all black and mouldy. We couldn’t complain to the restaurant manager or the manager as nobody spoke English. The only food that was good was the salad bar. The ladies toilet at the poolside are disgusting. No way is this a four star hotel.

The hotel area was noisy in general, not a place to go for relaxing and enjoy a holiday. Low standard hotell, worn out and broken funiture. The bed was broken and the bedsheets was blody. The buffet was simple and poor quality, the chicken skewers were raw. The rooms were not washed and we were not given new towels.
